This Forestdelic episode is all about ANTHILL and their debut EP "Subterrestrial". Out of the depths of the Macedonian underground, a duo with a unique character is making a ground break on the international scene with their debut EP this summer on Forestdelic Records. Ogi (Yudhisthira) and Darko (Kala) have joined their powers in creating AntHill, a kicking project of non-compromising night time psychedelic trance, exploring full power blasting dance music fueled by their individual experience and production skills. Jump into the anthill and set yourself on an electric trip to find out how deep the undergrounds go!

Ivan Damjanić aka DJ Pila is a family man but also very active member of the psytrance community since 2002. After years of going to parties, he gets involved in organizing and promoting psy-trance culture. He learned all about DJ-ing and event organization through "Ministry of Psychedelia" crew. He is also the man behind many other projects like "Bootanika", "ChilliBar", "Cufus" and others. He is an active member of Forestdelic Records and he has compiled a VA for them under the name "Pangea".

Daiki is the project of Giovanni B.P. A Mexican guy who started his career as a music producer in 2016 with his project named Nohek, influenced by the sounds of progressive trance, where he started with ethnic sounds from ancient Mexico. In 2019 he begins to experiment with genres such as trap and ambient, but taking them on the futuristic side. combining with dark atmospheres and enveloping basses. In 2021 he begins to experiment with other darker genres and this is how he returns to the production of psytrance, but this time with subgenres such as Forest as the main influence, darkpsy and Psycore, where he mixes relaxing pads with dark atmospheres. His musical career has led him to work for record labels such as Broken Clouds and Co-founder of the beatmaker collective OpticalBlur, although he is currently an independent producer.

Mihail Solakov, a DJ from Skopje, Macedonia, goes by the stage name Oak Tales.

In 2005, he first encountered psychedelic trance music at gatherings in and around Skopje. After attending European festivals and researching various forms of psychedelic trance music, he became greatly moved by what is known as forest psy music. In 2013, he found himself behind the decks for the first time in his own nation, performing this sort of music for the crowd. He joined the Forestdelic Records family in 2016, and in 2018 he published his first album, VA - Nautilus.
His approach to playing sets is to never commit to one kind of music, instead, sensing the energy of the crowd and delivering the necessary dose of psychedelic and groove.
He selects music that combines Scandinavian deep and abstract sounds with more groove and dynamic tunes, constantly attempting to strike a balance between mind and body music.
In 2021, he collaborated with DJ Giuseppe from Parvati Records, VA to release his second album. Morphing Tunes is a split VA loaded with full-power dancefloor blasters written by both labels' representative artists.
2023 marks the tenth anniversary of Forestdelic Records and for this year he is preparing a special album for all the freaks out there.

Samadhi is said to be a fourth kind of consciousness: 

It is beyond the states of waking, dreaming and dreamless sleep. Those who have witnessed it as an external phenomenon report that the experience appeared to have fallen into a kind of trance. The hair on the head and body stood erect. The half-closed eyes became fixed. Sometimes there was an astonishing loss of weight, or even levitation of the body from the ground. But these are mere symptoms, and tell us nothing. There is only one way to find out what samadhi is like:

  Jacob Goadream caught the electronic music bug back in the early 90’s. Attending some of the first warehouse parties in Houston, Texas, Jacob quickly developed a love for electronic music. In 2000 he was introduced to the wonderful world of psy-trance through the Universal Mind Productions gatherings, via Robin Triskele and Sandip Chakraborti.  It was all over from there! Shortly there after Jacob moved to the Carolinas where he discovered the T.O.U.C.H. Samadhi Collective. Their truly magical gatherings at Deerfields throughly split his third eye wide open with a psychedelic hammer! Over the last decade, skills have been honed and a mountain of  music collected. Seamless, delicate mixing, the ability to step up and match the vibe in any given situation and most of all, a true love and drive to kindle the flame that is psychedelic trance dance culture has got Jacob traveling a lot these days. Be sure to catch him on a trance floor near you!!!!
