They were never meant to be friends but fate was cruel.
Four nations.
One uniform.
Four futures already written in blood by diplomats who never held a sword.
Yet for four impossible years,
they shared the same dorm, the same mess hall, the same sunrise drills over the alpine lake.
They learned to curse in Four languages,
to laugh at the same stupid jokes,
to fall asleep to the same piano someone played in the common room at midnight.
The war academy called it “exchange program.”
They called it home.
On the last day, their graduation,
before the orders arrived and borders closed,
they dragged an old camera to the rose garden behind the chapel.
No instructors. No flags.
Just twelve cadets in dress blacks,
arms slung over shoulders that would soon be enemies.
The shutter clicked once.
The choir in the piece is that single click stretched into eternity:
a frozen moment where the world still believed peace was possible.
Years later,
when the first war march fell on their childhood cities,
they would pull out the photograph
and swear they could still hear the strings swelling,
the piano holding that final, gentle chord,
the unspoken promise hanging in the air:
“We were brothers/sisters once.
Remember us before the uniforms remembered us.”
This is the music that plays
when you look at that photo
and realize
the war didn’t start with kings.
It started the day
 they were born to different nations,
and pretended
it was easy to say goodbye.

Our group have lawyers, engineers, doctors and even ecologist etc. So its pure hobby for now but we are planning for bigger things. Afterall, many of the music on this channel are pure nostalgia from the 80s to 2010s. We recreate songs that we crave since more than half the group are boomers. =[
