Here is our final release for this crazy year 2020 – a compilation carefully crafted by our label heads Emiel Sangoma and Daksinamurti - Sangoma Records. This release is the first chapter “ Winter” of a new series covering the seasons. While the whole world seems to go crazy - we stayed active, focused on what we love most, and spent a lot of time working on music. In a time where we could slow down, focus on ourselves, and travel to our inner states many chose the path to a parallel universe full of stupidity, propaganda, and misinformation. Dsompa, meaning "flowing together" in Tibetan, is the artistic endeavor of Philipp, a dedicated DJ and producer based in Hamburg, Germany.

Immersed in the enchanting world of electronic music since the late 90s, Dsompa found inspiration in the rich culture, art, and unique sounds of the psychedelic subculture. His musical journey took a pivotal turn in early 2007 when, spurred on by friends from the Ruigoord Community in Amsterdam, he delivered his inaugural DJ set in the transformed confines of a squatted church, now a dance-temple in Ruigoord.

The essence of Dsompa's sonic exploration is distilled from the lessons of his life and the profound experiences he has encountered. This amalgamation serves as the foundation for the captivating soundscapes he crafts for the dance floor. Rooted in the belief that life is an ever-evolving journey, Dsompa invites us to collectively shape a better future through the transformative power of music.

His journey embarked on the path of classic morning full-on sound, a sonic signature that still resonates across borders. From the beginning, his magnetic vitality pushed him out from his homeland, propelling him into the limelight at major national and international festivals, with a performance leaving indelible marks on dancefloors. As his skills and production acumen evolved, Spatial Plants ventured into a deeper psychedelic sphere, drawing inspiration from the sacred soundscapes of Goa and the UK twilight psychedelic direction. Now part of the Blacklite Records crew, as an icon in the psytrance world, Spatial Plants has been a beacon of energy and innovation on dancefloors worldwide. Virtual Light is a psytrance producer and DJ hailing from the great white North of Canada. He has been slaying dance floors like it was 1999 since 1999 and has toured the world many times over, laying down his signature sound at all the world's top festivals. Being one of the Zero1 label DJs, his style ranges from futuristic twilight to a deep, uplifting, classically psytrance vibe unified by an enigmatic character that defines the Zero1 sound.

Kabayun is a psytrance producer from the United States. After spending many years honing his sound, performing around the USA, and organizing parties in New York City, David has spent the last 5 years touring the globe, performing in many European cities, in North and Central America, Asia, India and Australia, and at many of the top summer festivals in Europe, including Ozora, MoDem, Antaris, Summer and many more....

After releasing his debut album on 2to6 Records in 2011, in 2012 David joined the team at Looney Moon Records, based in Italy. In 2015 he joined Sangoma Records, a label based in Germany that promotes psytrance without genre boundaries, which is a perfect fit for his music, which floats in the border zone between twilight, forest, and dark, pulling elements from each, for a full power, psychedelic and very danceable vibe. 

His tracks have been featured on many compilations and releases from top psytrance labels over the years, currently David is working on a ton of new music, including a new EP and an upcoming album on Sangoma Records, as well as many collaborations with some of his favorite artists and friends in the scene.

Now residing in Philadelphia, PA, USA, Kabayun is available for bookings worldwide.

Kabayun’s music intends to create an environment that stimulates the listener to release themselves from the trials of everyday life and confront their challenges through the trance dance experience. Channeling the spirit of the west, Kabayun pulls together many elements to create an intensely psychedelic experience that lifts the body and the mind to undiscovered plateaus….

Pantomiman is George Agaronov (or Gosha for short), a Russian psytrance producer with some extra flavour on top — he is a professional comic actor who comes from a family of circus comedy performers! Early in his childhood years Gosha began playing musical instruments, performing on stage and later composing his parts for a circus band. When Gosha was a teenager he discovered electronic music and a bit later towards the late nineties Gosha discovered something that felt very natural to him — psychedelic trance. Since then Gosha has been developing and working on his own sound, partly with an expert guidance from Alex Parasense. Pantomiman’s groovy bass lines and comical themes make people dance and laugh at the same time, while of course his skilful sound synthesis guarantees that a trip will be adventurous, joyful and amusing.
