Battle theme for CRYPT"E"D.
A LIGHT WORLD secret boss, based on the IC-E sightings in the SPAMTON SWEEPSTAKES.
...
After venturing to the centre of the "forest behind the graveyard.", you find a piano, similar to that from UNDERTALE'S waterfall.
Upon playing it, CRYPT"E"D is released, and after a brief word, the battle begins.
You're powerless, and your only option is to FIGHT.
if you LOSE, it crawls inside Kris, replacing YOU as the FRIEND inside them.
Oops!

EDIT: 15/08/24 --

FRIEND's lore in this take is that they're a darkner that can walk the LIGHT WORLD, via parasitically leeching onto the body of a lightner creature.

it's "CRYPT"E"D" Vessel is a dead deer, a Nd it requires a new vessel in order to live.

Years ago, days before Dess disappeared, she fled into woods, only to be met by the creature.
It tried to take her as it's new vessel, but she fought it off, and buried it beneath the earth.

FRIEND, upon being beaten, survives it's battle, and regardless of whether you choose to fight it, or spare yourself the horror of battling it, they show up in Ch6, now leeching off of the annoying dog as a vessel.

Also, Kris has met this thing before, in the closet dark world!

In the chase sequences, Asriel flies around using his neon wings (which would be part of his design, probably being a mix of inspiration from Nightmare Knight and the Masked Man) instead of chasing after you.
He will use his lighting powers that, if you get caught in, you'll have to dodge it.
He'll also occasionally mix it up by flying directly toward you with his Chaos Sabers.

As I'm sure is the same for many of you, UNDERTALE's music is what caused me to want to become a producer in the first place... so, I owe a lot to Toby Fox and all the other musicians from around here who inspired me, taught me, laughed with me. ♥

This is a medley of a few songs related to the final boss of the game, tacking on some that I thought would flow well. I hope you enjoy. (Yes, that’s me playing piano at the end. I’m not very good at it.)
