Los Angeles based pop duo Little & Ashley, comprised of Annie Little and Marcus Ashley, is best known for their songs that were featured in a series of Amazon Kindle commercials in which Annie also starred. Amazon licensed four of their songs, including “Stole My Heart” which went on to become Amazon.com’s #1 free MP3 download of 2010. The duo has also had a variety of other placements such as Banana Republic, Balanced Body, Leon's, MTV’s Teen Wolf and Making the Band, and the feature film trailer for The English Teacher starring Julianne Moore and Nathan Lane among others.  

Described as mixtape-perfect, sunny and flowing, their swirling harmonies, pop guitar hooks and dreamy textures make for a windows rolled down, warm weather soundtrack. Little & Ashley were singled out by Entertainment Weekly in an article about top commercial songs while Women’s Wear Daily called the duo “perfect chemistry”.

Originally a drummer, Marcus Ashley taught himself multiple instruments and began writing and recording songs while growing up in White Bear Lake, MN. Continuing to hone his rhythmic sensibilities under the guidance of the Steve Miller Band’s Gordy Knutson, Marcus went on to record his first solo album at Prince’s Paisley Park Studios in Minneapolis. After graduating magna cum laude from Boston University he relocated to LA where he subsequently wrote and produced recordings of over 300 of his original songs, in addition to performing in bands and producing material for other artists. Marcus is sponsored by Gibson Guitars and has guest starred on TV shows Justified, Bones, and CSI: NY.

From Salt Lake City, UT, Annie Little began playing piano at four years old and began singing in choral groups from an early age. She went on to receive a full scholarship in vocal performance at the University of Utah. While studying, Annie also performed with The Utah Chamber Artists, a renowned professional choir. During that time Annie was discovered by a modeling scout and left school to travel the world as a professional model represented by Ford Models. It was at this time that she began teaching herself guitar and writing songs. After settling in Los Angeles she continued to hone her song craft and began recording. Annie has been cast in a variety of TV shows including Mad Men, Desperate Housewives, and Dexter, and can be seen in the Best Picture Oscar winner Argo, directed by Ben Affleck.

Annie and Marcus married in 2011, and live and work in Laurel Canyon, in the Hollywood hills. To date they have released three EPs, and are currently preparing to release their first full-length album with distribution via Razor & Tie on November 18, 2014.
