Luke & I started this collab in Sydney at Turning Studios in between Stereosonic 2012 shows. We finished it for Ultra but were not quite happy with it then.

We finished last week with a battle of sessions sent through yousendit, arguing about the sound of the kick drum until the day before premiere.

When I opened my Tomorrowland set with it and saw 20k people punching the sky with their fist everytime the vocal says "blow", I had the feeling this was finally ready to be shared.

With summer festival season fully underway, the dancefloor bombs are dropping left, right and centre. Laidback Luke now unleashes one of the big tracks from his sets of late: TWOLOUD collab Fcukin Beats.

Following on from recent collaborations with Afrojack, Mike Cervello and GTA, Luke decided to get in the studio with burgeoning duo TWOLOUD, who have been receiving support from major players and running their very impressive Playbox label. The duo come fresh from releasing the official Parookaville festival anthem this week alongside FRDY, and are in hot demand right now.

Fcukin Beats is a resolute electro house banger, oozing colour and character from every pore. A nagging on-beat synth bassline provides the meat of the melody, its rhythm working as a perfect counterbalance to the snappy percussion while the pitch-shifting vocal cut provides more energy still. Expertly crafted builds and fills keep the tension and impact at a high level throughout, everything produced in pristine and slick fashion. It’s no wonder it’s been such a hit in Luke’s sets, with the track thoroughly tested at the likes of Ultra Music Festival.

Luke’s in full-on touring mode right now, with 11 dates crammed into July including Tomorrowland and AirBeat One, Mixmash @ Parookaville, Marquee in New York and Daylight in Las Vegas. How he finds time to do all this plus his regular vlogs and martial arts pursuits, we’ll never know!

Marc Benjamin’s big break came in December of 2013 when his original single, “Riser” achieved a top ten slot in Beatport’s top 100 chart. After that Marc found himself collaborating Laidback Luke on “We’re Forever” and “Tell Me That You Love Me”. As a result of hard work and dedication to his craft, Marc was asked to play at Ministry of Sound London followed by the world famous Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.

Alongside and after a 5 year weekly residency in Amsterdam’s largest nightclub Escape, Marc Benjamin collaborated with dance music icon Benny Benassi for “Who I Am” which was released on Ultra Music. later Marc released his single “Blow” on Spinnin’ Records which has over 25 million  streams on Spotify.

Marc was summoned not once, but six times for his remix work for the Grammy Award-winning producer, Zedd. Marc’s rendition of big hits like "The Middle" & “Happy Now” made Zedd decide to invite Marc to play on his ‘Orbit’ & ’True Colors’ album tour in Europe. In 2019 Marc released his single “All The Time” on Spinnin’ Records and signed to the Spinnin’ family. In 2020 Marc collaborated with Fedde Le Grand on their single “To The Top”. Later this year Marc Benjamin became a new entry at #27 in the Top 101 producer ranking of 1001 tracklists and also released his single “Losing Focus” on Axwell's label Axtone Records. In 2021 Marc collaborated with Afrojack on their single “Start Over Again”.
