(one of my favs from last year btw) and this probably my 3rd favorite on the album. divine timing that the deluxe dropped today.. anyways im rapping.. hope ya'll enjoy :)

iv'e been sitting on this idea for a minute — leon thomas’ "not fair" has that kind of ache that just needed to be in conversation with something as rich and grown as kem’s "love calls."

what really made it click was the live version of “not fair” from the deluxe — the pitch and tempo gave me way more room to play, and honestly, the live take just feels different. rawer. more personal.

also... we’re not talking enough about how good the deluxe version of "electric dusk" is. “heel” is just as fire as anything on the og album.

this one’s for the lovers who showed up a little too late, or maybe just felt everything too deep.
