i got into milgram when you weren't looking. also i got synthv 2. i loved mo xu's voice when i first heard it, and i thought she would sound good on after pain, so i made this to test out the new program. it's alright! workflow isn't very different from what i was already doing on synthv, so it doesn't bug me that much. some cool quality of life updates, but they also made groups weird to use. also, i wish my favorite (nyl) sounded less glitchy on it, but i'll wait for some compatibility updates for them.

got hxvoc. was debating on whether to try him on bring it on or MeMe and decided that MeMe is better to test the range of his vocal modes. he pulls it off really well. i didn't even include the screamo parts in this clip

anyway this is one of my favorite milgram songs, these are some of my favorite english translyrics, and i had fun tuning the rap and spoken parts! i still need to tune the singing more but i think i'm getting used to sv2. still sad that nyl 2 is glitchy for now but solaria 2 is really nice.

Das Milgram-Experiment ist ein erstmals 1961 in New Haven durchgeführtes psychologisches Experiment, das von dem Psychologen Stanley Milgram entwickelt wurde, um die Bereitschaft durchschnittlicher Personen zu testen, autoritären Anweisungen auch dann Folge zu leisten, wenn sie in direktem Widerspruch zu ihrem Gewissen stehen. Der Versuch bestand darin, dass ein „Lehrer“ nach Anweisungen eines „Versuchsleiters“ einem „Schüler“ bei Fehlern elektrische Schläge versetzen und deren Intensität nach jedem weiteren Fehler erhöhen sollte. Sowohl die „Versuchsleiter“ als auch die „Schüler“ waren Schauspieler und die Stromschläge erfolgten nicht real. Dies blieb den eigentlichen Versuchspersonen, den „Lehrern“, jedoch verborgen, so dass sie davon ausgehen mussten, den „Schülern“ echte Schmerzen zuzufügen.

I uploaded a version of this with Mo Xu a while ago, but I like Natalie better. She has a similar tone, but her English pronunciation is much better and she has some nice passionate tones that work well here. Also, I tweaked the translyrics to be better.

New MILGRAM song! Muu's songs are always absolute bangers, and I love the instrumental and lyrical callbacks to her other songs in this one. Fascinating character.

I don't wanna mix... but I spent a really long time writing these translyrics so I hope they're decent. I do know my rhyme schemes are basic, and I probably reuse a lot of sounds and words, but at least the stressed syllable placement is alright, and I tried to shout out to the ideas in her other songs. Some lines in the ending After Pain reprise section are inspired by odii's After Pain translyrics because those are my favorite translyrics for that song.

This cover definitely needs extra tuning and pronunciation tweaks, but I think it sounds alright enough to post the WIP for now.
