Uploaded to demonstrate the differences between Behringer's Model D and Poly D. 

Similar performances are made here on the Model D and then the Poly D with identical settings - starting with the mixer levels around 7 and raising to 10, playing the filter cutoff and resonance, before bringing in headphone feedback. Additionally some play with the envelopes. bringing decay down from 600ms to 10ms (according to the panel)

Sequence comes from Arturia Keystep Pro via CV to the Model D and via MIDI to the Poly D. 
Audio was recorded into Roland Studio Capture 16. 
Oscillators 1, 2, and 4 are used on the Poly D only.
Both machines were tuned immediately prior to recording began but the audio had to be re-pitched by 20 cents in either direction after recording due to drift. 

The Poly D has significantly different gain-staging in the mixer and filter-VCA section which does not drive the filter as hard as the Model D. This in my opinion leads to a less authentic Model D sound, despite the obvious superior form-factor and other features. It's a shame because the Poly D could be the perfect Minimoog alternative, but the Behringer Model D clearly delivers the more authentic Minimoog sound characteristics.
