Eduardo Carvalho is a young music producer from São Paulo, Brazil. With his project Muirakitan, he signed to Galactic Groove Records and Patronus Records and is showcasing there, his exceptional talent in shaping acoustic landscapes and psychedelic dimensions. Muirakitan stands for an explosion of sensation and emotion, with groovy basses, hypnotic melodies and ripping leads, ought to shape a ritualistic atmosphere, connecting to our ancestors and leading it's listener to get in touch with himself through dancing. Being a multi-instrumentalist, Eduardo has a wide range of experiences in making music. Since 2008 he played in various hardcore- and metalcore bands as well as being involved in multiple different projects with furthermore various musical rhythms and themes. He first encountered electronic music in 2014. Following that he started off with a DJ project called Psycoativo, focused on the nightish spectrum of the psytrance arts. Not long after, Muirakitan was born, since composition is one of Eduardos great passion and it did not take long for him to get into producing. Showing exceptional potential since early on, Muiratikan really shines with amazing continuity and power. With his animalistic, organic as synthetic soundscapes he instantly sends you into deep forests, realms of ancient technology and psychedelic landscapes while still providing highly danceable rhythm, drive and never-ending groove.

"Terence Kemp McKenna was an American ethnobotanist and mystic who advocated the responsible use of naturally occurring psychedelic plants. He spoke and wrote about a variety of subjects, including psychedelic drugs, plant-based entheogens, shamanism, metaphysics, alchemy, language, philosophy, culture, technology, ethnomycology, environmentalism, and the theoretical origins of human consciousness.

In his 1992 book Food of the Gods, McKenna proposed that the transformation from humans' early ancestors Homo erectus to the species Homo sapiens mainly involved the addition of the mushroom Psilocybe cubensis. McKenna's hypothesis concerning the influence of psilocybin mushrooms on human evolution is known as "the 'stoned ape' theory.

McKenna's hypothesis was that low doses of psilocybin improve visual acuity, particularly edge detection, meaning that the presence of psilocybin in the diet of early pack hunting primates caused the individuals who were consuming psilocybin mushrooms to be better hunters than those who were not, resulting in an increased food supply and in turn a higher rate of reproductive success. McKenna's "stoned ape" theory has not received attention from the scientific community and has been criticized.

A recent in vitro and in vivo study found that DMT present in the ayahuasca infusion promotes neurogenesis on the subgranular zone of the dentate gyrus in the hippocampus. A study showed that a low dose (0.1 mg/kg)of psilocybin given to mouse increased neurogenesis in the hippocampus 2 weeks after administration."

PHASE1 has been into all kinds of electronic music from an early age on. Born in Denmark, he learned to mix at the age of 13, playing at the local youth club. He bought himself a pair of turntables and a mixer later on and continued to develop his skills, first on vinyl and later on CDJ´s. He discovered the psychedelic scene in 2005 and the music touched him like nothing else. Since then his favorite style has been night psy and fullon. PHASE1 got signed to Patronus Records in 2020 and, since then, released three mind blowing compilations.

Galactic Groove Records is an independent psychedelic trance record label based in the south of Ireland.
Launched in 2013 by Dj Floki to promote & contribute to the underground psytrance scene on the Emerald Isle & beyond.
The first release, a 3 track EP from renowned Brazilian night psy producer "Diksha" went out on all major download platforms in February 2014 with another 2 EP's to follow shortly after.
Since then the label sound has evolved into a much deeper, darker form, now focused on what some consider a modern take on the dark & forest psychedelic trance subgenres.

- BIO -

Louis grew up heavily influenced by various alternative rock and metal bands, classical pieces, motion picture soundtracks, indie & psychedelic rock, and dark ambient soundscapes until the discovery of psychedelic trance music at the age of 19. A few years later, in 2016, he decided to start his production journey. The influences of the project include darker artists performing in the local scene and all over the world, focused on but not limited to higher speeds than 148bpm.

Since then, in the midst of connections with local and international producers, he has accumulated techniques and understanding, creating his own style with influences from subgenres such as Nighttime Full-On, Twilight, Forest, and Darkpsy, exploring cosmic soundscapes through which the listeners can have a unique, fun, and playful experience.

Taxonomy of the Interloper:
Hailing from the in-between worlds, the entity known as the Interloper brings with him otherworldly sonic soundscapes that fall between sanity and insanity. Some say his existence emerged from the obscure gathering of collective energies within the nucleus of his fractal dimensional origins. Having now stumbled onto the realm of Terra, this unsane being has seen that the noises he wills into existence fill the natives with utmost pleasure and so he wishes to grace all with his mind bending arsenal of frequencies from the neural forest realms in the void and beyond.
