Written by strange-tundra composer Xxhe using the sounds of ice, wind, choir, vocal recordings, breathy synthesizers, and orchestral instruments, the Strange-Tundra Opera is not just music, but a grandiosely garmented and glacial tale.

Following creatures made entirely of light whose language can only be sung and is unpronounceable spoken, their language fills the music of the opera ethereally and sometimes painfully.

Composed at the age of seventeen, the music is simple and wind-heavy yet iceic and haunting.

This compilation features the music from the live show with narration.

This time I'm chatting with sleeptwitch about how to make the electronic music world more accessible with an anti-classist lens.

Deeply involved in Berlin’s music scene, sleeptwitch hosts two radio shows on Cashmere Radio and SystemsRradio and is an active member of Xcuseu kollektiv and Crush Kollektiv. Through their involvement, they help shape female- and queer-focused events, workshops, DJ sessions, and much more.

This show contains a lot of practical tips especially if you are starting to get into music as a producer or a DJ. We also deep dive about the way the trends are shaping the scene here in Berlin and I get a bit mind-blown at some point.

Known for writing a "strange-tundra" opera at the age of seventeen using the sounds of wind, ice, orchestral instruments, and the human voice, Xxhe styled a new genre and continues to invent new ways to write music.

The founder of the “Dialect Halls of Ж: the rooms to sonancers, movists and zuo dialects,” a collective which curates unusual and intimate performances, Xxhe is a gatherer of musicians, performing story-heavy dance pieces to their original compositions in both above and underground places - never without an extraterrestrial flare and a drop of otherworldliness.
