The forth compilation of Frente Bolivarista is inspired on the sounds of Nomade Festival which happened in Halver/Germany in the year of 2016. After a three day journey of fusion music into the woods meeting dozens of great and insipiring people from all over the globe willing to join for the good music and the regionalism behind it, we decided to release a compilation inspired on the artists envolved with the festival and of course some of our all the time artists,

Cara Sur es el primer LP de Derrok lanzado bajo el alero de Nómade, este release propone un viaje musical completo desde el primer Track hasta el onceavo, con momentos de misterio que se revelan a lo largo del disco.

Sonidos de la naturaleza: la fuerza del trueno, la libertad de las Turcas que cantan desenvueltas, se funden de una manera sutil y orgánica con beats lentos propios del House. Un trabajo que destaca por su dinamismo y progresión, con dos tracks introductorios y tres tracks finales que dejan claro un mensaje de paz. Un mapa con la ruta hacia la tranquilidad del alma que solo puede darse en los bosques, en la vida silvestre, lejos de la urbe, de los semáforos silenciosos que dirigen un tránsito sin sentido.

Derrok construye un puente sonoro que vincula a quien escucha con las raíces de nuestra América indómita. Le da sonido a una caravana gitana y latina que avanza en busca del rescate de los ritualitos, que llenan el espíritu de viajeros de todo el globo, aportando a un cambio de mira, a un cambio de paradigma sonoro y social, menos competitivo y mas colaborativo.

Temas como “Recuerdos” con Vruno y “Dueños de la cima” con Rodrigo Gallardo, hablan del poder del trabajo en conjunto, de la fuerza que toma la música cuando es compartida. El sonido del charango acompañado de sintetizadores armónicos permite una gama de matices silvestres y vanguardistas, que te llevan directo a los bosques del sur.

Su música es una pócima dulce que se revuelve al ritmo aproximado de los 100bpm, invitándote a un baile que más parece una aventura por un sendero milenario. Te mueves como avanzando entre ramas, saltando troncos y esquivando telarañas, sin dejar huella, invitado por duendes y seres mitológicos australes. Su ritmo va dejando pausas para que respires y vuelvas con mas fuerza a moverte – tú - todo rama de Coigüe, que se balancea al compás de un temporal de viento que sopla desde la Cara Sur.

Multi Culti’s lucid-lifestyle dreamer Peter Power takes us on a free-wheeling trip to the motherland on AFRO DAMBA.

The Irish-born Voodoohop resident has returned from the jungles of Bahia with a fresh ep of primal party tracks sampling voices and rhythms from across Africa and it’s neighbouring islands, producing what is easily his most club-oriented work to date. Whereas his tracks for Voodoohop were spiritual flute-heart-openers, these are neo-pagan mating-ritual floor-fillers. The rhythm is set to tribal chug, with rollicking percussion, reverb-soaked vocals, and all the fun jangly bells & bits you expect to be hanging off such a well-traveled producer.

If that weren’t enough, we enlisted Romanian-dance-duo Khidja to double-down and remix both Adama Waro and Dansakoni (available as a digital-exclusive). Resident mix-lord Dreems also weighs in with a subtle remix of Dansakoni, gently upping the tempo and tweaking the knobs in selfless service of the original groove.

Sabo’s music is a journey into sound, a sonic landscape that crosses several musical borders with mixtures of tropical poly-rhythms, warm bass frequencies, rich percussion, lush tribal vocals, and smooth organic textures. When listening you will undoubtedly find yourself resonating with his intention, imagining yourself dancing in an Amazon rainforest, on a moonlit Tropical beach,  or on a desert plane for a Saharan sunrise. Behind the decks, his innovative approach to each DJ set makes him a consistent stand out at festivals like Burning Man, Coachella, Lightening in a Bottle, Shambhala, Fusion, Symbiosis, and Further Future. He is also the label boss of “Sol*Selectas Records” which is successfully re-defining a new vein of dance music. It was the Top 10 Best Selling Deep House label on Beatport in 2016 and 2017, several #1 release in 2018 and 2019, and with every release breaking into the Top 10 charts of their respective genres. Born and raised in the Southwestern Andes, multi-instrumentalist and producer Derrok explores mountain soundscapes, aiming to preserve the essence of his beloved homeland and Chilean nature through music.

Considered as a member of the new wave of South American electronic music, he has performed his live act in festivals like Womad, Mutek and Fauna Primavera, and has been on the road at many festivals and venues across Latin America and Europe.

Additionally, he is the founder of ‘Quinto Fuego’ (@quintofuego 🔥), a cultural collective
and record label based in Pucón, Chile, which was created to bring the downtempo/organic scene to the region and support emerging local artists.

An active member of the rapidly evolving South American electronic scene, Derrok is constantly experimenting, creating, and working around organic

The duo manages to make you drift from reality to a fictional journey into a different world. For more than four years Alex and Saskia have been part of the electronic music scene, spreading their driving, deep, hence melodic and playful sound focusing on one message their music reveals to every single person: love! While Saskia‘s musical skills developed during early childhood piano lessons, Alex made first contact with electronic music with his “Minimal Lounge“ solo project. Releasing on labels such as Katermukke, Sol Selectas, 3000Grad and Connaisseur Recordings it is their own imprint Underyourskin Records that has been causing a buzz lately and on which Just Emma releases their dark and melodic interpretation of electronic music. Therefore the duo prefers to play the early morning hours to attract the crowd with an ocean of diverse sounds.
