Dat is het gevoel van ‘Het Geluid Vaart’. In deze podcast kun je een uur lang luisteren naar een bijzondere plek op Terschelling. Ivar van Bekkum en Esther Polak (kunstenaarsduo PolakVanBekkum) maakten deze binaurale opnames (luister met headphones!) voor de online edities van het OEROL festival in 2020 en 2021; om op afstand te kunnen genieten van het eilandgevoel. In 2021 ging een aantal mensen je voor. Al deze mensen hebben een persoonlijke band met een ánder eiland: het eiland Curacao. En dat levert bijzondere ervaringen op.

That's the feeling of "The Sound Sails. In this podcast, you listen for an hour to a specific place on the island Terschelling. Ivar van Bekkum and Esther Polak (artist duo PolakVanBekkum) made these binaural recordings (best with headphones) as part of the online editions of the Oerol festival 2020 and 2021; to enjoy the island-feeling from a distance. In 2021, the episodes are introduced by a person who experienced the podcast before and has a personal connection with another island: Curacao. These introductions are spoken in Dutch. If you do not master Dutch, you might want to skip the first 3 minutes of each recording.
