LILAC ANGEL — named after the driving and minimalist track by 1970s German innovators NEU! — is a three-piece group making a cerebral blend of post-punk and noise rock in the American Southwest. In all facets LILAC ANGEL remain steadfastly independent and D.I.Y., from artwork and promotion to engineering, mixing, and mastering.

Formed in 2022, LILAC ANGEL quickly established themselves as a staple of the local independent scene. Their first official release, a live cover of The Cure's seminal 1980 track "A Forest", arrived in early 2023, followed by a set of three originals on the self-produced "EP". In December, the intertwined four songs of the "I TRY HUMAN" EP came to fruition, their most polished and fully-realized work to date.

This Is Nowhere is a five piece musical group from Salonica, Greece.
Starting in 2009, lost in a no man’s land among noise, blues, experimental and psych rock, they released their first recordings via their collective label 'Hands in Sand'.
Fast forward a few years and after several recording sessions and live shows, in January 2014 their first full length LP "Turn On/ Tune Down/ Drop D" was released by the legendary 'Nasoni Records' label in Berlin. 
Their sound has evolved a bit since then, incorporating elements of noise rock, dub and shoegaze through delays, bass and more bass...
The band’s second album “Music to Relapse”, featuring new drummer Captain Tzek, was released in 2016, also by Nasoni Records. 
The same year, their live reproduction of The Velvet Underground's “White Light / White Heat” was released by Lotus Releases and Melotron Recordings for the 2016 Record Store Day.
At the end of the decade, moving towards colder soundscapes, they started working on their third album, "Grim Pop".
With the addition of synths and theremin by new member Eva Duru, the band embraced diversity above and beyond their acid rock, in a quite minimalistic manner.
"Grim Pop" was released in 2020 by 'Doom Mood'.
This is Nowhere started working on new material during the pandemic. The recordings found the band exploring the post-hardcore spectrum and were done by the end of 2023. "Waiver", while still hallucinatory, sounds like their most extrovert album so far. It will be released in October 2024 by 'Ouga Booga and the Mighty Oug'.

Just recently learning how to produce music, long time music enthusiast and hobbyist on a lot of random instruments. Finally taking the plunge to record and make something full out of it! I'm mostly into metal and EDM, but I dabble in some other genres from time to time.
