Dreams of Flight is a projection mapped film on permanent display at the Norwegian Aviation Museum.  Forming part of a large ‘wunderkammer’ (cabinet of curiosities), it tells the Norwegian tale of Knut Lund, a little boy who dreams of flying.

Dreams of Flight - ART INSTALLATION

Mio Min Mio is a famous Swedish story by Astrid Lindgren.  This interpretation forms the 4th part of a projection mapped pop up book on permanent display at the Swedish Museum of Performing Arts. It tells the story of a young boy Bo Vilhelm Olsson who is transported to the 'Land in the Far Away' and becomes Mio. There, he discovers he is the son of the king and must fight the evil knight Kato to free the land from his oppression.

Astrid Lindgren Mio Min Mio - ART INSTALLATION

Commissioned by Boston Brilliance and the South & East Lincolnshire Councils’ Partnership.
Created for Boston Brilliance Festival

This projection and sound piece was a collaboration between Karen Monid and the projection artist, Pep Pelau. 'The Kraken' was inspired by the poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson and gave it a modern twist.

The poem was given a dramatic reading by local actors, directed by Karen, and the audio design went on to combine the mystery of the underwater deep with the rich language of literature in order to spark the imagination of the listener. 
Combined with photo-realistic animation by Pelau, the result was a colourful and atmospheric fusion of international and local talent.
