DJ JRod


I go by the name of DJ JRod. I’ve been DJing for over 15 years. I fell in love with DJing when I first stepped foot into a nightclub and was amazed at how one person behind a booth can have full control of a crowd. 
     I started to learn how to DJ by randomly purchasing two Technics 1200 & a Numark mixer. I spent endless hours on learning how to mix, scratch records & collecting music. I became an open format DJ, but also have a Latin music specialty. 
     I landed my first gig after three months of being a “bedroom DJ” at a local bar. That gave me the drive to perfect my mixes and techniques as a DJ.
     Fast forward to today, I’ve performed at many bars, clubs & lounges as well as many weddings, sweet 16’s, and more. DJing has been and will always be a passion of mine.
