If a President was inclined to reinstate the Comstock Act, then they can—all by themselves — by a simple declaration. The Comstock Act is what’s called a “zombie law”: Though long considered unconstitutional or unenforceable, IT WAS NEVER REPEALED!,it could essentially shut down abortion nationwide. That’s why voting for Reproductive Rights matters and it’s incumbent upon voters to vet candidates:  those who wish to reinstate abortion rights in the United States, and those who wish to have a national abortion ban.

hey, hello there, hi. We're so excited to be back and venting about the state of the world while also dealing with having a uterus! (...excited might be the wrong would, but we digress...) For our first episode of the season, we're doing a lot of catch-ups: we fill you in on the last 2.5 years of our lives, cover some newsy-doozies (lol there have been so many) and have a song or two for you to enjoy — because even though time has passed, we're still, deep down, some surprise-song-lovin blosts. Recommended activity for while you listen: find some fabric scraps, a needle and thread and sew some cute reusable pads for when the government inevitably makes period products (and periods themselves) illegal.  :) <3

By organizing benefit events and campaigns, NOISE FOR NOW provides opportunities for artists and entertainers to use their talent to raise money and send a clear message that Reproductive Rights are human rights.
