As many revellers of the music scene retreated to the Bush for a weekend of dancing and letting go, My Aeon held its line strong with a special evening of extended sets from all performers, including headliners Anthony Pappa and Jamie Stevens. I was very grateful for this opportunity to warm up for these Australian DJ legends. As the early patrons trickled into the venue from 10 'till 12, I was able to blend between Organic, Deep and Progressive House for an evoking journey of passion and soul!

Raising the Vibration Mix #20 — SARAH THOMSON

Lenny Lens is an emerging Australian DJ & Artist after serving the underground Melbourne music scene for over a decade. This journey has included many years supporting as a host, promoter, running independent events, working as a booking agent and of course performing. After strong influences of 80s and 90s electronic music in his upbringing (New Order, Daft Punk, Michael Jackson, Depeche Mode, Human League, Fatboy Slim),  Lenny Lens now encompasses a sound showcasing his experiences of the underground circuit of Techno, with more later influencers of Progressive House (i.e., Guy J, Wehbba, Pig & Dan, Patrice Baumel, Joris Voorn, and Dosem), whilst staying true to his roots and love for his home town of Melbourne! He likes to describe this sound as a new-age deep hypnotic infusion of progressive house and techno, however still keeping his sound edgy and free from genre limitation.  After recent features at A3 festival and Beyond the Valley, day festivals with Critical Feeling, secret Pop-up rave parties, and residencies at Revolver Upstairs and Glamorama. Lens now operates as a Record label owner with Deep Remedy, and Ecstatic Dance facilitator with Rhythmic. He is enjoying this journey as much as he does curating vibes for the punters of the scene and dance floor, witnessing all his hard-work and dedication to music being shared with the world.
