Schwabe [TAPAN, Klub 20/44]

Member of the famous TAPAN, Schwabe is one of the most experienced DJs on the Belgrade scene and one of the most deserving people who have contributed to the quality of the program and the overall success of the club 20/44. This time he was a guest at the Tunnel club and for CMOK Cast part of his mystical-magical DJ set.

Ihre Arbeit ist ein Kompendium des Schreckens. In ausnahmslos jeder Polizeibehörde in diesem Land gibt es rassistische und rechtsextreme Vorfälle.

Aufgenommen am 27.12.2024 im Tropical Hostel auf der paradiesischen Insel Koh Phayam, fängt dieses Set die Energie des tropischen Lebens ein und verbindet sie mit den Wurzeln meiner Identität als Schwabasian – eine Mischung aus schwäbischer Bodenständigkeit und asiatischer Leichtigkeit.

This set is a musical journey to a land that only exists in sound - Schwabasia. A world where pulsating house beats meet driving tech house vibes and transport you to a unique atmosphere.

Recorded on 27.12.2024 at the Tropical Hostel on the paradise island of Koh Phayam, this set captures the energy of tropical life and combines it with the roots of my identity as a Schwabasian - a mixture of Swabian down-to-earthness and Asian lightness.

Eine Reise durch Schwabasia 🌴

Apart from music from the future in the first hour, we have a second appearance of Disco Not Disco on CRS, but this time with Schwabe. The honoured 20/44 sailor and clubnight curator, label runner and Disco Not Disco member and half of the live & edit project Kompleks. Schwabe is rare on words and very rareish when it comes to vinyl collections. What's more important, he is a very dedicated music lover. As he recorded a bit shorter guest mix and wanted to make it up, he sent his old original tune. Again, rare. Accidently I called it edit. Sorry and enjoy.

Coming from the steaming underground scene of Belgrade, brushed with dark abstract, yet romantic ideas of space and ambience, Tapan present their first EP with the ever growing family of Malka Tuti. Tapan's dark atmospheric industrial sound, infused with balkan or even middle-eastern percussions sits perfect with the Malka Tuti soundscape. Following their acclaimed releases on 'Crimes of The Future' and 'WT Recordings', Tapan present us with 'Tarantella' and 'Poison High', two slow chugging and very atmospheric, somewhat melancholic tunes for the late hours. On the remix Black Merlin delivers a great pushing forward slow dub-trance tun, driven by a massive bassline...
