The second reference from Distortion Records is signed by the label Head “Hankook”. His style is characterized by very powerful and refined drum beats on which classic acid and bass lines blend perfectly, turning his tracks into authentic tools for DJs looking for burning the most demanding dance floors. Exquisite old school sounds, funk vocals, vision and experience when creating effective tracks that work in any dj set. Many years in the best South Spain parties and festivals support the DIST002 proposal, which is undoubtedly one of the records of the breakbeat season. In this his first solo vinyl, the artist has had the privilege of making a stellar collaboration with former member of the band The Prodigy, Leeroy Thornhill, in addition to collaborating with his partner in front of Distortion, Orebeat, who is also one of the main responsible for the Distortion Records sound. Peter Paul junto a Sine Boy formaron a mediados de los 90 uno de los primeros grupos de Breakbeat en Andalucía bajo el nombre de Second Effect. Sin duda su sonido marcó una directriz en la época y algunos de sus tracks de aquella etapa se han convertido en verdaderos himnos del género cuyas grabaciones en vinilo son objeto de coleccionismo muy cotizados… Nos complace enormemente poder presentar este disco de vinilo homenaje a los orígenes del sonido Breakbeat en Andalucía bajo el mítico sello andaluz NMITY Sound desde el que Peter Paul operó a finales de los 90 y principios de los 2000. Para ello hemos trabajado codo con codo con el artista para recuperar estas grabaciones de hace 30 años cuyo resultado puedes encontrar en la primera entrega de la saga RECOVER. Outtime, Speedman, 3,2,1 y una versión moderna de Golden Remix, que Peter ha estado pinchando en los mejores festivales del sur durante muchos años, componen este primer disco de la saga que estamos preparando y que irá viendo la luz en los próximos meses.
