Sampled Material: Never My Love - Etta James

This is a song I believe I found out through my fiancee a few years back! It ended up on the sample playlist and I thought it had some nice parts to chop up. This song would come up on soul stations as I was digging for samples on YouTube and she would sing along and it made my heart warm.

This beat is rappable, it may need some bass on it. Most of these beats are rough drafts anyway.

This is another beat I found in my "Songs2Sample" playlist on Spotify. 

It is called: "Suddenly I'm Alone" by Walter Jackson

This is another beat I made at work during lunch. My coworkers say a lot of wild stuff while I make these and I tend to laugh a lot. I'm not entirely sure how I even feel about this beat, it feels like it barely has its legs! They're all demos anyway, so its alright.

The sampled material sounds like a Christmas song, but it isn't. That bell that is used in the sample just gives of Christmas vibes. It pierces through the drums as well, which made it hard to mix in. It works, there's drums, and an easy bass. It is rappable.
