Having been in the carwash and related industries since the 1990s, today Vahid David Delrahim is the President and CEO of Platinum Energy and its subsidiaries – a company that has 1,000+ staff members. He is also a board member of: the LA Chapter of the Jewish National Fund, former board member of the SF Valley’s Chamber of Commerce and a contributing member to Wells Bring Hope. Throughout his career, he has made a point of giving back to the community. One example of this came with the opening of his first carwash company whereby he established a “Wash Buck” plan.  This entailed the donation of 10 percent of customer output to local schools. In addition, dollar vouchers were then given to the Friends of Library every time a customer spent $10.  Delrahim believes in “always saying yes,” both on the community and business level.  Through Platinum Energy and via his family he donates tens of thousands of dollars every year to various foundations and emergency funds.
