I am Anke from Germany and I have been writing poems since my childhood. Lots of my songs are just these poems put into a song by giving them a melody that fits. Lots of my songs are telling stories about my life and about who I am and some of my songs are just made out of my thoughts and feelings. Some I wrote to thank all my friends for always beeing there for me. I have no particular fondness for a certain style of music, maybe that's why my songs are very different in styles and sounds. Hereby I want to thank everyone who likes my music and perhaps even recognizes themselves in one song or another. My songs contain many stories that life has written; many that MY life has written. Why the name Dark Side of Synth? Because it’s cool and it sums up my fascination with the dark side and with synthesizers. Dark side not just as negative but also as obscure, unknown, unexplored...

Don’t worry, you won’t be finding only darksynth, heavy, scary and sad tunes and tones here but quite a wide range and lots of happy, upbeat things too. Again, it is just a name – not a mission statement set in stone forever.

Di Lovero is a French composer, author, performer, singer, producer and arranger.
His captivating and refreshing Electro Pop is mixed with Prog Electro and Experimental Electro.
His work on syllabic singing makes his songs unique and original.
In 2017, the meeting with Véronique Raux-Lortal as a vocal coach was decisive for the rest of his career. Without her, Di Lovero would not be what he is today.
Véronique's connections allowed him to meet Bruno Mylonas, the producer and director of albums by Jean-Michel Jarre, Charles Aznavour, Vanessa Paradis, Marc Lavoine, Bernard Lavilliers etc ... and were a revelation for him. He will work with Bruno Mylonas for 4 years and Bruno will participate in the production and mixing of his songs.
