I've been writing original songs for a number of years now and recently started adding some acoustic covers, it gives me a nice feeling to know that other musicians and listeners give their time to listen to my humble offerings, so thanks to you all in advance for giving up your valuable time to check out my musical creations. 

My Sound cloud name "Heavenly Vine" was taken from the first song that I wrote called "Timeline" it seemed like the perfect way to conjure up an artist name for this great musical platform.

When I started writing music I took inspiration from my family as I wanted to leave some sort of legacy when I've shuffled off this mortal coil, what better legacy than a musical one.

All of the original music that I have created on this page has come from my heart and soul and it gives me a lot of satisfaction to know that someone might get some pleasure from my music, especially loved ones.

It's great to be part of this great musical community, we may be many minnows in a huge pond but together we make up one huge fish.

Wágner is the former lead singer of the mid-nineties alternative rock band Nerve from New York City and is known for his powerful and hard-hitting vocals that are full of emotion and energy. At the age of 15, Wágner recorded his first two demos,"Dust” and "Visions of You” which were immediately cut into a 7" single and distributed by hand. Influenced by the New Romantics and New Wave movement of 1986, he re-recorded the demos with the addition of "The Third Day of Sorrow,” which was released both as a club remix and radio version.

The complete 3-song EP, "A Way of Life," was produced and engineered by Rob "Bung” Bengston at The Workshoppe Recording Studios known for Blondie’s “Betrok Tapes." Billy Idol’s touring drummer, Victor Loud, made a guest appearance on the 12” playing both drums and other percussion instruments. Novus Records released the EP with national distribution through Important Record Distributors which became Relativity Entertainment Distribution (RED) in the 1990s and later Sony / RED Distribution.

Wágner has since been collaborating with the talented Brazilian multi-instrumentalist and producer Mauricio Mirapalheta, whose roots are in metal and punk.
