2 weeks ago I gathered with few friends for an intimate celebration @ Tiny Club Berlin - a special night to mark the beginning of a new chapter in the best way I know.🕺🎶 Despite the frosty November air, the atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter, and vibrant energy. 💓 
Huge thanks to Tiny Club for hosting me and recording such a memorable moment in my life! 🙏

This is a practice mix I made this afternoon, on March 20, 2025. It features some of the dance music that I've enjoyed listening to lately. I tried my best to diversify my collection of music to include more artists from the Global South, so there's a lot of great stuff here from West Africa, South America, South Asia, the Middle East, and more. Lots of love to all the producers out there who are continuing to push the sound of electronic music forward.

Military Brat, born in San Antonio, Texas.  Lived in Okinawa, Japan for 9 years.  I've lived in So-Cal for 8 years.  I have a passion for producing and recording music off all genres!!!

Doris Merlin, better known as TAHiTA, was born in the mid-80s in the heart of the Italian Dolomites. From an early age, music was her muse. At age 6, she already played music for her schoolmates by combining together different songs on a double cassette player. Raised on her father's eclectic 80's disco collection, TAHiTA's fascination with old school records remains an indelible influence on her musical palette.

Venturing to London in her twenties, she immersed herself in the pulsating waves of minimal and techno of the early 2000s, delving deeper into the sonic abyss to craft her distinct signature sound. It wasn't long before she found herself behind the decks, having fun djing with friends. 

After a youth spent reveling in the euphoria of partying, traveling, and spinning records for sheer joy, TAHiTA felt more and more the call to ascend from the dance floor to the DJ booth. Her migration to Berlin in 2016 marked a pivotal moment in her career, performing in renowned venues like Wilden Renate & Club der Visionaere where she was able to achieve a remarkable success thanks to her infectious energy and warm, captivating selection.

Renowned for her unpredictable, genre-spanning mixes, TAHiTA seamlessly weaves together contemporary electronic beats with 80's disco & tribal ancestral rhythms, inviting listeners on a transformative odyssey through realms of euphoria and introspection. Her music serves as a conduit for connection, guiding us on the journey to ascension, a journey made of duality between ego and soul, hate and love, shadow and light, bringing us back to our true divine nature.
