The First Record we present, is Xylème`s - "The Zanskar Experience" released in May 15, 2018 on the Paris based Label Ōtium.  

Xylème also known as 9Beats, created his first long play format, inspired from a Travel to the Zanskar Valley in the Indian Himalayas close to Ladakh. 
Ones an independent Buddhist Kingdom, now part of India (link below). 

The Format is an 8 track journey with wide Ambient Atmospheres, open spaces to dream and underling Techno rhythms who invite to dance.

In our next Episode of the Blendet Series we are delighted to present Shelley's interpretation of the stunning Album "The Waves" from "SVLBRD".

Shelley's style can be described as deep & hypnotic. Where she combines impulsive rhythms and wide atmospheres and takes us with dark and dissociative sounds true spectacular soundscapes in her journeys.

Salute and a warm welcome back to the 004 Episode of the Blendet Series. 

Summer has finally arrived and we enjoying the time to strive barefooted, true Grasses, around Lakes, Rivers and on beaches to cool down and enjoy the warmth. It feels nurturing and grounding to spend most of the hours outside and be connected with Nature and surrounded by loved ones. 

In our next Episode we are exited to welcome Gabriel also known as Spielman and his mix of an Album, what expresses the mood of long summary evenings on the water side in a spectacular way. 

"Voices From The Lake" was first released 10 years ago by the Record Label "Prologue" from Munich, and in 2023, for the anniversary,  its has been refreshed released with extended and partly changed arrangements and up to date mastering - an absolute listening pleasure!

Since then he became known for his love towards deep hypnotic and dubby mixes. Sometimes with an slower approach and  more ambient vibes. And sometimes more energetic concluding aesthetic baselines. His journeys are timeless experiences full of stories and atmospheres.

"When I stumbled across the album back in 2013, I was absolutely floored by the hypnotic pull this music had on me. Everything seemed so organic, trippy, purist and I was blown away by the storytelling this album told.
With the remaster of the album released this year ,it's actually hard to top. The original album was incredibly good, the new versions take everything to a new level. I have mixed the tracks in their series follow unchanged, as perfectly as the guys intended.
Go barefoot and have a wonderful flight".

Hello everyone, it's Tuesday again, and we warmly welcome you back for a new Episode of the Blendet Series.

We having hot weeks behind us. Wonderful energetic weeks, full of Music, Dance and connections. Summer, treating us at its best. It was basically not raining for 5 weeks until last Sunday and when the first rain drops hit the ground it felt like the Nature around, been singing loudly, out of blissfulness. 

In episode 05 we are warmly welcome our next Guest "Makgun". 

Makgun, Based in Brussels, released his first mix around 8 years ago and has been since an constant creator of very detailed and diverse mixes of spectacular electronic Music productions. The ability to drive true emotions and bring the energy to peak points and back, to calmness and deep diving energies is one of the highest art-form of Djing. And Makgun does it Mix for mix.

Makgun choose for his interpretation the Album "Motormouth Variations" from 2 Masterminds of Techno, Rrose x Bob Ostertag. 

The Album was Released in July 2011 on Sandwell District as an 2 x Vinyl LP.

"The reason why I chose this album in particular: My admiration for Marcel Duchamp / Rose Selavy and Rrose / Seth Horvitz. Seth Horvitz's main profession is cognitive science and my interest in this science is another reason. For me, Rrose is the best person who can express visual art with musical language."

Our deepest admiration goes to Rrose x Bob Ostertag for there timeless sound expressions.

Blendet Series | 005 | ~ Makgun plays ~ Rrose x Bob Ostertag - Motormouth Variations [Album Mix]

Hei alle sammen, and a warm welcome back to the Blendet Series

After being on an adventures weekend at Soria Festival, in a Valley close to Kristiansand in the south of Norway. We are back in Oslo and continuing our journey whitin the Blendet Series. 

In Episode 006 we celebrate an Album from an Icelandic Producer who is very known for his unique rhythmic and deep dub techno sounds. His Name is Aðalsteinn Guðmundsson alias Yagya.  

At the description of his Album Sleepygirls it says "Right from the rolling bliss of the opener, you're suspended in a womb, like a pillow of sound that is soft, warm and serenely beautiful." His productions could not be better described. 

Aðalsteinn creativity gives us soothing and escapist soundtracks, what trances the listener in utterly mindful experiences. In his productions can be jazzy instrumentals from a saxophone and guitar to counter the repetitiveness of the rhythms and moods. Or soft Japanese vocals, like in Sleepygirls to guide the mind in an dream state where his Drone like Atmospheres let you go deeper and deeper. 

In Stormur, Yagya continue to evolve his sound into the pure techno realm. His unique palette still identifiable, but the focus now on the swirling hypnotism, the delicate tonal progressions, whispering vocals, and the underlying current that transports you, from the whiteness of Island floor to the soaring treetops, the dense whirlpools of mist, and the breathtaking landscapes are now seen from above.

Stormur means translated, "Storm". It focuses on subtle flow and progression between tracks akin to a full DJ set, transporting you from one chapter to the next. The hole Album is produced in 127 BPM and each track taking its cue from the previous. The tonal shifts are only minimal, what creates for the listener a trance-like state. Fallen into his movements best absorbent in one hole listening. Guest vocalist Hatis Noir providing an angelic voice amongst the shifting patterns, swirling synthesizers and driving grooves.

Before we start, we would like to say hello to the dub community in Iceland and give our deepest thanks to Aðalsteinn Guðmundsson for all the sensual moments he lets us enjoy through his music.

Blendet Series | 006 | - Yagya - Stormur [Album Mix | A Strangely Isolated Place]

Carlos Castañeda (December 25, 1925 – April 27, 1998) was in our western society an American writer and Anthropologist. In the world of the "Yaqui" (Indigenous people of Sonora Mexico & Natives of Arizona US) he become,  through the teachings of Don Juan "a man of Knowledge" or "Warrior between Two Worlds".

Starting with "The Teachings of Don Juan" in 1968, Carlos wrote a series of books with the purpose of describing his training in shamanism, that he received under the tutelage of Don Juan, a Native Yaqui and "Man of Knowledge".

Likewise, as other knowledgeable and wise personalities of our last century. Scientists, journalists and anthropologists around the globe have questioned and criticized the origin of Carlos stories, described in is his books and his messages and teachings.

We will never find out, if the encounter and friendship with Don Juan really happened. Nevertheless the teachings of Carlos Castaneda, are more then ever important as an guidance to walk the way inwards.

Enjoy an hear for yourself in one of Carlos rare recorded interviews from 1969. A true blessing to hear the voice behind the "man of knowledge"!

Theodore Roszak interview with Carlos Castaneda (1969)

After a little Summer brake, we are back with one of our favorite Albums from the year 2016. 

With "Irrbloss" Alexander Berg has created an overwhelming journey, for true lovers of Organic hypnotic Techno. His transcendental soundscapes and recurring dreamy melodies throughout out the LP, give the listener a hinch of flying ghost lights organisms. 

If you search for the meaning of "Irrbloss" you will most likely find out, that Ignis Fatuus also know as "Irrbloss" are small mysterious lights on heaths, bogs and marshes.

In the past, it was apparently believed, that they were souls of people who did as much evil as good in life and therefore neither went to heaven nor hell. Another view was that they were people who were tricked into sinking into bogs and then after their death rose up like a wildfire, forever dancing around the place where they died, leading other lost people either to safety or to their deaths.

Scientifically, fireflies are explained as bubbles of swamp gas that spontaneously ignite and burn with a cold flame

It is almost impossible to choose a favorite track of this exceptional Album. Nevertheless the compositions Kassiopeia and Irrbloss have an very unique dreamflavour what we just have heard in somehow similar creativeness of productions from Birds of Paradise or Saphileaum. 
Gripen and Gloson on the other hand are coming with an energy and deep dubby encountering base lines.  

A little tip on the side. Alexander Berg was in his early times as producer a part of the Duo "Genius Of Time".

One of the most knowledgeable interviews with Terence MCKenna. Enjoy the wisdom.  

Terence McKenna is recognized as one of the most influential American thinkers of the 20th century. 

Born in Nov. 16, 1946, in Paonia (US / Colorado) was a veritable polymath, ethnobotanist, philosopher, psychonaut, public speaker, writer and historian, aswell as a lecturer and butterfly collector. 

True his exploration of altered states of mind via the ingestion of naturally occurring psychedelics, Terence became an advocate for the medical use of Psychedelics substances who appear in Nature. 

McKenna mingled scientific and psychedelic experiences and explanations from himself and others with the human consciousness. He cited real academic scholars in explaining his views of human history. 

In addition, he gave numerous talks and published several books, among them Food of the Gods, The Search for the Original Tree of Knowledge, A Radical History of Plants, Drugs, and Human Evolution (1992), The Archaic Revival, Speculations on Psychedelic Mushrooms, the Amazon, Virtual Reality, UFOs, Evolution, Shamanism, the Rebirth of the Goddess, and the End of History (1992) and Chaos, Creativity, and Cosmic Consciousness (1992).

Terence left us far too early in the year(2000) but inherit us a lasting legacy of knowledge, good will and the encouragement to each of us to walk the path inwards!

Hello everyone and a warm welcome from Oslo to the Blendet Series. 

Midsummer is now a few weeks behind us and we recognizing day by day in the northern hemisphere, like every year, the strong power of shifts in seasons. The days becoming slowly shorter. The Nature shares rain, very frequently with us these days and the mushroom season has already started. An indicator, autumn is on the horizon. 

To go out into the woods picking mushrooms and herbs is a truly fulfilling experience. And if you haven't tried it yet we recommend to do so! Les go into the woods with friends or/and family for a mushroom hunt. You will experience an tapping into a flow of infinity. The more we surrender, the more the forest will show us the fruits and goodies we being surrounded with. You could described it like a hypnotic state of mind. 

In Episode 008 of the Blendet Series our Guest has chosen an masterpiece of Techno what very much represents the Garden of Hypnotic Techno at his deepest Roots.

Salute everybody, it is our great honor to welcome the Canadian artist and label owner 藤虎 | Baal Eser for the 9. Chapter of the Blendet Series. 

Canaanite records, based in Quebec, comes from the ashes of the Phoenicians. Phoenicia was an ancient civilization composed of independent city-states located along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea stretching through what is now Syria, Lebanon and northern Palestine.

Acronym first surfaced in late 2012 on his own imprint, Dimensional Exploration, releasing mind-bending music and working in the sphere of similar Labels at that time like Prologue and Stroboscopic Artefacts. A few months later he published a 12″ on Abdulla Rashim newly found label and platform, Northern Electronics. Resident advisor describes " June " as an Album stacked with bright, highly affecting, layers of soft, spacey samples and gentle melodies entwine for the first 15 minutes, pairing with a smoky background what remains omnipresent throughout the album. In 2013, he stared with a friend the "Euphonic Moments" series. A base for events, and since 2015, host of a Radio show. We dont know, if the series is still in actions. But, should you traveling or living around Tivolis, we suggest, you better check out the Euphonic Moments. 

AeRo presenting the Andromeda Album, produced and released from BD Tom. Tom is coming from the Deep House scene in Hungary and everything related to it. If you call it Soulful, Detroit, or Chicago Tech. His works are highly inspired by old favorites such as Atjazz, Terry Lee Brown Jr., or The Timewriter. Nowadays, he is becoming more inspired in the deep and groovy Dub scene, while constantly evolving his sound. 

After the release in January 22 with " Deep Space Journey " the Album Andromeda is his second release in the Dub Universe. 

With joy and ecstatic grooves we been celebrating AeRos celebration and wanna send warm regards for his mix and a big thanks to BDTom for his timeless production.

We are very happy as our beloved Blendet Series has his first little anniversary. 

Therefore we wanted to celebrate and what could be a better celebration then a ֍ Special edition ֍  with a tribute to our beloved Label "The Gods Planet"

It will be difficult to find words that could describe how deep our admiration and joy became over the years while listening to magical releases, dancing ecstatic on dance floors all around the world and waiting exited for the next upcoming releases of Andrea Deplanos Label. 

Founded in 2010, and now more than 40 publications with Hypnotic all time legendary tracks like, "Primal Codes - Along The Fjords", "Ness - Noumenon", "Andrea Cossu - Mejlogu", "The Gods Planet - The Golden Age" and many many more. 

This mix is a ensemble of collected tracks and our anniversary celebration, 

"And if the gods will". 

Another upcoming 10 years of exiting releases. As we will continue our joy, dance and ecstasy with the sounds of the gods!

Blendet Series | 010 | ֍ Special edition ֍ a tribute to The Gods Planet

Hallo happy January and welcome back to our first edition in 2024.

We are sinking deep into the white carpet of snow these days here in the northern hemisphere. A perfect time to gather together around a little fire, warm up and listen to some amazing Techno productions. 

Our next guest Murianoise, coming from warmer climes in Catalonia has attracted our attention with his lovely mix "La Technocràcia X" (link downwards) 
In our Series he is presenting a wonderful homage to the well known Record Label SEMANTICA, started in 2006 from Enrique Mena. 
Last FM has described Enrique, also known as Svreca in 2006 as one of Madrid most coolest upcoming DJ, who combines the coolest and most sophisticated electronica with the most abstract and complex Techno, and sometimes his experimentation leads him towards the most unusual textures and rhythms for the dance floor.

Before we start, lets hear a few words from Murianoise 

" This mix is a tribute to the Spanish Techno label SEMANTICA. Since I introduced myself into the realms of DJing back in 2017 and began buying & collecting music for my 
mixes, SEMANTICA has been the label that I always go to, not only because of the music genres that they mostly release (hypnotic, IDM, atmospheric, deep & dark techno) 
which I really love! But also because of the way the tracks are produced, with an exquisite sound design and a very good taste, in my humble opinion.
In 2019, I had the privilege to see Svreca, SEMANTICA’s boss, playing at Paral.lel Festival, an intimate deep Techno festival that takes place in the mountains of Catalonia, my home region. In his 4 hour set Svreca was delivering lots of releases of his label that I 
recognized and danced as it were the end of the world. That night was a very special. One and I will always remember it.
The first EP I bought on SEMANTICA was “Helmet of Bones” by one of my favorite Techno artists: Evigt Mörker. 
This EP, that captivated me immediately, was in fact the 
key that made me open the door of the beautiful genre of ambient/IDM/hypnotic/dark Techno. 
“Magdalene Spell” is the first track of “Helmet of Bones EP” and the last track of this mix, that I hope you enjoy! "

Blendet Series | 012 | ֍ Special edition ֍ Murianoise's homage to SEMANTICA Records

Just in time, as every year, in February the sun slowly and majestically returns to the far north in a magnificent play of colors. 

And what goes better within this spectacular scenery than the warm, grounding baselines and hypnotic atmospheric sounds of Luigi Tozzi. 

In our next episode we are honored to present a mix of Paris based DJ and organizer Poussière Diamant. 

Julien, Founder of the "ART YOU OUT" collective (Paris), has invited and hosted many french and international artists in the last 10 years in France & Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain...). His DJ project,  Poussière Diamant explores the atmospheric, psychedelic and tribal side of deep hypnotic techno. In this edition he presents a mix to honor Luigi Tozzi's productions. 

Before we start, we are happy to hear a few words from Poussière Diamant about his affection of Luigi Tozzi. 


 "It's been 10 years since I discovered Luigi Tozzi, one of my favorite producers over the years (I've bought every one of his productions). A worthy heir to Dino Sabatini, Donato Dozzy and Giorgio Gigli, he has succeeded in making his own mark on the history of deep techno, thanks to his immense talent. I also appreciate his ability to constantly renew himself and explore new musical horizons, without ever losing sight of his musical DNA. 
Initially, I wanted to use Deep blue volume 3 for the Blendet Series project. But then I realized that Luigi Tozzi had already done it in his own way ! So I came up with the idea of making a tribute mix based on all his releases on different labels (Hypnus, Non Series, Outis Music, Mental Modern, etc.). 
Here's hoping Luigi likes it, what he'd probably have done much better! "

Ones upon a time

A Corroboree is a generic word for a gathering of Australian Aboriginal peoples. It may be a sacred ceremony, a festive celebration, or of a warlike character. The ceremony happens often around a bonfire and includes usually dance, music, costume and often body decoration. 
A word coined by the first British settlers in the Sydney area from a word in the local Dharug language. "Corroboree" explores the transformation of the human spirit, the relationship between Aboriginal people, creatures, and the land, and what it is that unifies us as human beings. 

Corroboree is about challenging, awakening, and cleansing the spirit.
