eyes crawl open, looking for a sign on the ceiling. 
a trail of ants and the picnic is outside.
desperate feet drag, hungry for the scraps.
glass meet glass, the window.  

our window, the window
where I saw
sun soaked skin
coughed clouds
secondless sanctuary.
never again.

hands grasp pieces, fixing a neglected mess.
a busy bee at work to quiet a hive mind.
anxious tools buzz, blinded by their duty.
a craftsman’s workshop, the study.

our study, the study
where I made
a partner 
fearless failures
reckless endeavors.
never again.
 
feelings fuel impulse, engulfing everything.
a haphazard web consuming its designer.
frenzied limbs fly, desperate for escape.
a squandered mess, the life.

our life, the life
where I lost
secondless sanctuary
a partner
my world.
never again.

lightning cracked from sky and sparkplug as he flipped the switch and time.
window, skin, sanctuary, mess, web, life vacuumed from the familiar, whole once more and then never again, expelled.
in a world that never knew the joint, he found no shelter from the break.
lost in a world of his own creation, a story begins and ends at the earthquake.

hot and cool air sprial
a dance, a duel, a stand off
magnetized by polarity 
swept into the uncertainity 

give in
give up
tear all fears apart

seperate they drift aimless
lost, scared, alone
relinquish the self
gained purpose gives health

within
without
eviscerate all doubt

the forces collide and divde on all sides, 
decided by anger together in danger,
a onesided wager now beckoning a new world's reckoning

regret
rigged bet
destruction onset

the force matches the bout 
a battle irregardless of the collateral
a fire that rages burns itself down
so the ice bides at a price

once all fuel is ashes
a cool breeze lingers 
scorched and slain slashes
mouthed by mournful singers

settle
fragmental
a lone singed petal

tornado

bliz//zard

a man. two minds.
a machine. endless times.

good intentions met misdirection
with no hope for correction

but disasters rage from within
without 
her to quell his doubt 

new found freedom
in a kingless kingdom 

craving heaven
created Nevaeh.
