Belgian producer Ricky Razu brings his head nodding, smooth House sound to Happiness Therapy’s 10th EP release.

Coming fresh off a release with Houseum Records and other notable labels, Cliff Music and 13th Hour Records, Ricky Razu continues to elevate his music productions with his signature house sound.

Power Of Love is a 4 track House EP with flowing melodics, smooth basslines, and groove-laden rhythms. The EP keeps you engaged from start to finish with Power of Love’s soulful, heartwarming vocals and soothing chords, to Break Up’s gyral strings section, bumping kick and funky bass runs.

Tldr: This was the test run I prepared for my first live gig. I messed up the actual show’s recording. Not perfect, but whatever

I was lucky enough to play my first (real) live show last week at Club Liner in Tokyo. It was an amazing experience, playing on a big system in a dark concrete basement felt so powerful. 

A week has passed, and the adrenaline has too. The show wasn’t perfect by any means, but I learned quite a bit and met some cool people. 

Probably the most important thing I learned is that I need to set up my stage exactly how I have my studio set up. Unfortunately, I had to split my gear up on two tables, unlike my home studio where everything is within arms-reach. I guess muscle memory is pretty important.

Secondly, I need to prepare more than I am expected to play. It was a 30 minute set, and I prepared pretty much exactly that. But when I was on stage, things went by so much quicker. I really only played a 23 minute set.
 
Third, I should have greeted the audience. Seems polite.
 
Lastly I messed up checking the levels on the H4n recorder I was using, so everything was way too loud and the recording was clipped to shit.  That's why I'm uploading this "test run". It isn't perfect, but whatever... still learning this stuff.

Overall, it was a wild experience and I hope to play again sometime, In the meantime I guess I’ll continue practicing and uploading rough experiments here.
