Between hitting the books hard at John Jay College of Criminal Justice by day and killing her recording sessions by night, Taina is a young, driven, and talented individual whose main goal in life is to inspire others through her music. Ever since she was a baby, Taina has always showed a passion towards music and a natural talent for it. Performing since the second grade, she went on to perform at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY at just eleven-years-old and ever since then has relentlessly chased after her dreams. After performing on the same stage as so many legends and overlooking the very theater they did, she knew that was where she belonged and that she was destined for greatness. Now as a young woman, she has countless shows in New York City, New Jersey and Pennsylvania under her belt and has had the opportunity to be the opening act for artists such as Cory Gunz, Papoose, and Nitty Scott. In January of 2016, Taina signed a management deal with Rockview Entertainment and released her first single, "Fly", a cover of Rick Ross' hit song "Thug Cry", shortly thereafter. Since then, she has released three additional songs that grabbed the attention of WVM Radio in New York City. One of those songs being "No Players", her feisty female-empowering spin on Big Pun's, "Still Not A Player". This song earned her a nomination for "Best Cover Song of the Year" along with nominations for two other awards at the 2017 Voiceless Music Awards.
