It is her radiating, extraordinary beauty that maintains and restores social cohesion, with every witness recognizing themselves in it and loving each other as a reflection of it.
It is not simply a matter of aesthetics or eroticism. No Loth could survive without this intimate contact with the Empress.

Song made with Renoise + 4klang.
4klang driver + instrument / sequence data is somewhere in the ballpark around 1700 bytes compressed. Starting with 500 bytes overweight in the initial version, I really had to whip the instruments onto a treadmill and shove diet pills into the sequence data's poor mouth.
(yeah I think they're still kind of fat, but I really did not want to resort to anorexic trance! :P )

This is the slightly longer version of the song, with (rather modest) post-production mixing done.
Unfortunately using this full version would have added ~50 more bytes to the exe... orz
