When Mafia & Fluxy meet Nick Manasseh…
For the occasion Reemah from the island of St. Croix is back on vocal duties for the label - the result: a beautiful tune called ‘What Goes Around’ in a versatile lyrical style. On the flipside then - a ’Trumpet Situation’ - an uplifting instrumental cut featuring Berlin’s own Vale on the instrument. Both on an oldschool-style drum and bass driven riddim recorded in Brixton by the legendary Mafia & Fluxy rhythm section, spiced with some percussion by brother K’boko. The whole project was given to the dubmaster Nick Manasseh for mixing and the right treatment in his The Yard Studio and then mastered from 1/2inch tape at Star Delta in the UK. Now served with dubs and a fitting artwork by Chloé Bernal - ready to be played loud.

Our third vinyl release is our first 12’’ record! Outstanding and miraculous, this record is an international effort, which resulted in a great combination of creation, relevant for both bagging it or playing out on a soundsystem. The original music is by Russia’s one of the most prolific and gifted reggae musicians - Rebelsteppa. It’s a kind and melodic instrumental music, a swing-stepper with saxophone. 

There’s a song called “None Shall Escape the Judgement” by the singer Stikki Tantafari from Jamaica on the first side of the record and on the second side you will hear song called “Give Unto Jah” by Sista Sherin, the German singer.

Ceikaba est une chanteuse née à Marseille. Elle découvre la musique enfant avec le violon. Elle y prend goût et poursuit sa route musicale.Aujourd'hui, ses textes et son style se concrétisent et s’axent sur le reggae/dub, rap qu'elle aime mélanger à beaucoup d'autres.Des collaborations musicales commencent avec quelques artistes et sortiront éparpillées sur l'année 2021.
