"La creación de las aves," the third release from Andy Martin's own imprint, Diaspora Echoes, takes inspiration from the surrealist vibes of Remedios Varo's artwork. This EP dives deep into rich, textured sounds that are perfect for getting lost in. It's got those deep beats that pull you in, layered with intricate sounds that echo a mysterious and fantastical vibe. Each track feels like a journey, making this release a unique and immersive experience.

Reflection Of You

The seventh Various Artists release on Mary Yuzovskaya’s Monday Oﬀ imprint arrives on vinyl in October 2024, with Yuzovskaya, Viels, ORBE, and D-Leria contributing tracks. It follows ‘VA Vol. 6’, which featured Blazej Malinowski, Michal Wolski, Xhato & Milena Glowaka, and won support from artists like Chris Liebing, re:ni, Gigi FM, and more.

First up on the record, Italy’s End Of Perception founder Viels conjures up a storm with ‘Nero’, a cerebral cut with crushing, low end-heavy atmospheres and mysterious alien signals. It is followed by Spanish techno lynchpin and Orbe Records boss ORBE, whose hypnotic ‘Rigging’ explores the abyss with foreboding sonics and a continual beep sequence that guides the track forward.

On the B-side, Monday Oﬀ label head Mary Yuzovskaya presents ‘Trouble’. A masterful bassline and bodied kickdrum starts the trip, providing an excellent foundation while alternating between rattling percussion, deep dub hits, and strangely familiar but indecipherable vocal snippets. 
Sound design wizard D-Leria then closes out the EP with the spellbinding ‘Battito’, complete with mind-blowing melodies and swirling eﬀects, rounding oﬀ another top-draw psychedelic oﬀering on Monday Oﬀ.

Young, rising Dutch artist Nachtwaker - @nachtwaker-143710920 - makes his debut on Knowledge Imprint with a mature, sci-fi techno expedition with tools for any time of the night.

Opening the EP is ‘Remind Me Again’, a slow building composition that eventually leads into an off-kilter beat with dark, hypnotic undertones and swirling hats. With similar characteristics comes ‘Valid Request’, albeit this time with a classic undulating four-to-the-floor pattern which closes out the A-Side trip. 

‘Currents’ picks up right where the A-Side left off. Maintaining the brooding energy, this track turns up the dial for the peak time with panning synth stabs and driving rhythms. ‘Chromatic Pulse’ is likewise centred on galloping synth stabs, but this time employs a hip-shaking low-end groove to round out the EP out on a high.

“Cariló” opens the journey with tribal energy, precise percussion, immersive ethnic vocals, and acidic textures that build a bold identity and make an immediate impact on the dancefloor.
