Blending in the classical side of his formative years with a cutting-edge approach to programming and live music, multi-faceted Berlin-based artist Hüseyin Evirgen alias Magna Pia has cut a lane thoroughly his own in the landscape of contemporary techno, and more generally the whole of electronic music. Constantly pushing back the boundaries between tried-and-tested patterns and groundbreaking incursions into uncharted instrumental territories, Evirgen serves up for us one of his distinctly deep-reaching sonic voyages, somewhere between high-intensity 4x4 wares, dub hypnosis and off-kilter divagations into the great unknown.

Back in June we welcomed Takaaki for his second On the 5th Day appearance and it was another incredible experience! The energy he created was off the scale and we were left gagging for more, wholeheartedly wishing we could turn back time and re-live it all.

Well, because he’s a legend, he’s given us the go ahead to share his set recorded live on the night, so reliving it is entirely possible.

Boom! The 62nd addition to our podcast stream and another gem we’re immensely proud of. Thank you, Takaaki!

After our summer break PoleGroup radio is back, this month we are going to listen to a mix from Madrid based Semantica boss Svreca, the spanish artist has recorded this set live at the Loft in Barcelona last April 5.

Svreca will release soon an EP on his Semantica label named "How to become nothing" with remixes from Oscar Mulero, Pris, Adriana lopez and ASC.

You can also check out some tracks of him released this year on labels like "On the 5th day", "Sublunar" and "Aura Dinamica"

You can see Svreca playing on October 11 at Distopia club in Bilbao, on the 12th at Smolna in Warsaw and on the 26 at prisma in Sevilla, he also have some gigs in Asia coming up in November when he will be playing at Vurt in Seul on November 1 and at the festival de Frue at Shizuoka in Japan on November 2
