MACINTOSH PLUSの「リサフランク420 / 現代のコンピュー」が2011年に現れてから、既に10年が経過している。引き延ばされた楽曲に意味のない日本語の羅列、大理石の彫刻。加速主義と結びつき高度消費社会を批判しているといわれたそのVaporwaveも、2013年という短すぎる期間でアダム・ハーパーより「Vaporwave is dead」と言われてしまっている。だがそんなVaprwaveよりも短い1年というスパンでleroyはdariacoreの死を告げていたそうである。

vaporwaveが政治性を持っているとすれば、future funkはvaporwaveの脱政治化であった。80年代のCityPopに4つ打ちのキックを足し、ダンスミュージックとして昇華させたムーブメントは、『資本主義批判とか、そういうことは忘れて朝まで踊ろうぜ』といったある種の思い切りの良さによって生まれたとも思える。サンプリングの筆頭だった山下達郎はサブスクを未だに解禁していないが、80年代CityPopブームや直近のレコードのリバイバルを見れば、その影響力がわかるだろう。トラックメイカーは（特にNightTempoは顕著だろう）リバイバル先の歌手もそれに乗っかることで資本主義的な共犯関係を結んでいる。

現代思想で加速主義特集が出たのは2019年6月、ユリイカでVaporwav特集が出たのが2019年12月、そしてコロナが流行りだしたのもちょうどこの時期である。（すいませんhyperpop論読んでからdariacoreの接続書かせてください）

さて、dariacoreはvaporwaveとは対照的に極端な早回しに、キックを継ぎ足し一曲に対し何曲もマッシュアップしたものを音割れさせることで生まれる音楽だろう。これはTikTokやYoutube shortsといったものの影響だと思う。資本主義が本当に示したのは、Vaprwaveが想像していたようなショッピングモールや、future funkが想像していたネオン街という理想的広告様式は存在せず、コロナ以後待っていたのは永遠と我々をインターネット中毒にさせようとする動画サイトと脱毛の広告だけしかない、という現実だけだったのだ。日本的要素としてドナルドが上がるが、あれはニコニコ動画からの影響というよりもうごくメモ帳からの影響であろう。だからmetacoreはカエルの声を鳴らすのかはわからないが。

hyperflipはある種の反則業である。「最初から文化的に死んでいれば、死ぬことはないから」、それがhyperflipの採った道だった。サンプリングでなくよりメロディの鉄板化や、元曲自体のremixの側面が強くなっていく。それが悪いと言っているのではなく、そういうものなのだろうと私は解釈している。それが、コロナ以後「死」を忌避する戦略なのかもしれないから。
