インダストリアルでハードミニマルかつ有機的なグルーヴを産み出す独自のプレイを得意とする。
大阪出身。1993年からドラムを始めインディーズバンドのサポートを務める。2005年から大阪トライアングルはじめ心斎橋界隈のクラブでテクノトラックのライブ、DJ活動を行う。2008年以降、音響ソフトMAX/MSPによるインスタレーション等、サウンドアートの活動を始める。
2010年に上京後、舞踏家「荒木志水」の舞台音響を務める傍ら、氏のコンテンポラリダンス/舞踏と電子音響を融合させたアートユニット「lente.」を結成。都内の舞台、横浜赤レンガ倉庫で公演を繰り返す。2013年で一時活動休止する。
2020年から活動再開。トラックメイカー/DJ/オーガナイザーとして現在まで、VISION、R Lounge、CUBE、WhiteSpaceLab、Sankeys PENTHOUSE 、Mitsuki など数々のテクノイベントに出演/オーガナイズを果たす。
また日本人テクノアーティストのリミックスやPodcastを手掛け国内外テクノレーベルよりリリース、オリジナルトラックによるハードウェアライブも行い、そのインダストリアルかつ有機的なグルーヴは多くのDJ/アーティストから好評を博す。
テクノ、エクスペリメンタル、ロック、ノイズ、現代音楽と、幅広いジャンルに精通している。

Spectres EP released on @weird_nights 

Abstract electronic soundscapes exploring the concept of collective memories, wrapped in packing of the recycled medium.
The EP is released on second-hand cassette tapes with music by Russian Chanson artists originally recorded.
Side A contains 6 original tracks by Corell. Heavily processed and transformed samples and snippets of audio, turned into the unconscious flow of sound.
Side B (tape only) is an attempt at recycling of Russian Chanson music as an object of collective memory. It is a processing of the material originally recorded on each tape. So each of the 28 copies of tapes contains a unique track on Side B.

“Russian Chanson is a music genre romanticising criminal lifestyle. Hugely popular among the traumatised Post-Soviet society, it was a music of public spaces in the late 90-ies - early 00-s Russia. As a child I could meet it, against my will, in many unpleasant situations and uncomfortable places. It could be heard in public transport, in the streets, shops, out of the windows of cars driving through the red traffic lights.
Spectres is an attempt to overcome this distressing experience. Could I isolate and remove the negative associations and traumatic memories related to this music by processing and manipulating the audio and transform it into something else? And if I could, then what’s left instead?”

In terms of the creative process for this album, I wanted to develop new production techniques using only field recordings recorded in my area with modular synthesis and effects pedals while altering the sound with tape recorders in some tracks to add an even more lively, organic and random touch.

The story I wish to tell is the initiatory journey of a man of spirituality, Milarepa who learned witchcraft in his youth and who for an ancient revenge used black magic against his enemies. But driven by remorse and purified by the trials of an old sage whose disciple he asks to become, he succeeds thanks to the teachings passed on to him and to his life as a hermit, in attaining awareness. His journey has inspired many people over the centuries and hopefully continues to inspire a generation seeking mysticism and hope today.

The other little story I had fun doing with the titles of these tracks is that you can read the 6 names in a row as if they were one sentence, as a summary of the stages of this man's life and also to reinforce the fact that the album is to be listened to in the intended order as it tells a story with an established chronology forming a coherent whole.
