Take 2 Creative Camp is back again with another original song by Take 2 Teens, Kemori and Laniyah! What is the song about? It's about recycling. That's right, recycling. These 2 took it upon themselves to write a song in order to spread awareness about an important topic to them. Here's what they had to say:

Laniyah: "Our song is called The Recycle Song and the reason we picked this song is because people leave their trash on the grass and sidewalk. So, I think that if they hear my song that they will help the Earth be better."

Kemori: "I feel like we should just have a way to reach out to everybody, without lecturing them and going on and on about the same thing. It’s just a way to reach out."

The Recycle Song: Kemori & Laniyah ft. Ms. K

Every summer, we are so happy to see our teens come back and explore their creativity by creating a variety of projects. These projects include writing stories, directing movies, drawing comic books, working with their peers, podcasting, and addressing teen issues. These projects lead to the teens building confidence in themselves and learning how to adapt and not be scared to try something new, skills they can use in school and their everyday lives.
