Take Notes' second release features our young gun Brad Brunner taking the lead on the slick yet scratchy 'Step ASide' EP. His appearances at massive stages like Sunwaves and SAGA - plus releases on Deeperfect and Bamboleo - are just another testament to Bucharest's rising talent pool. The EP also comes served with a remix by the unstoppable Cuartero.

'Step ASide' brings a razor-sharp vibe of thundering kicks, catchy hip-hop vocals, rumbling low-end, and rousing pace. The Spaniard king of groove, Cuartero, adds his signature style into a remix full of catchy glitches, hook basslines, and an all-around booming main room vibe. Some floating arpeggios and extra-tight grooves round the EP off on the titled 'Drummer Boy', with Brad's future classic edgy sound, clean percussions and mesmerising atmospherics.

Take Notes reveals its fourth release to date, and for this one, label head-honcho Mahony again takes the reign with the highly-anticipated single 'Pillshock'.

Channeling extra-tight grooves and robotic, fading sounds, the Romanian artist takes us deep into the night with a future mainstay anthem. Rumbling slapped bass tones dig deep into the ground, seamlessly moving along with the sensual yet gloomy Tedi's vocals. The result is just a perfect resume of Take Notes' edgy sound, as 'Pillshock' delivers an elusive and catchy production designed for the hottest hours of the night.

The fifth chapter just came to an end. We can't wait to see what's next. So it's time to turn over a new leaf, then. Label boss Mahony teams up with UK wunderkind Wheats (BOX RED) for one of the most highly-anticipated releases - or should we call them notes - we had so far. Two minds, four hands for two mainstay bigroom minimal, driving tunes.

Titled 'OFF THE WALL' may sound like a real warning sign: vigorous, slippery low-ends, sharp kickdrums, and insane sound layering. This track has been rocking hundreds of dancefloors during the past year, unleashing Wheats' unique trademark sound with Mahony's Romanian-inspired groove. Weaving skittering drums beneath hooky vocal samples make 'ID3' the ultimate club killer, which combines vibrant bass licks, tight drums, and infectious vocals to showcase yet another trademark production from the duo.

As time goes by, the hotter it gets, the more hectic it gets, the more the story takes shape and becomes suitable for different scenarios. It looks like that no one understands what is at stake. But EdiP does.

The Bucharest-based artist returns on Take Notes for his first solo EP on the label: 'Bout That C' is the result, and the wait was worth it. Sizzling electric shocks, hyperspeed shrewd minimal grooves, and embracing yet alluring vocals pave the way for a monstrous bassline and rampant kicks for a track crafted for pure dancefloor bliss. Next, titled '369' is a tight, trippy roller with hooky vox interjections, menacing drums, and lively percussions, all together in pure Take Notes' fashion. On the remix duties, Manchester's powerhouse trio of Mason Collective reinforces the original, bringing more sharp grooves and upping the pace for a heads-down, hands-up production destined for the later hours.

Passion and dedication will give you a broader view of something that, at first glance, would look like just a bunch of encrypted information. Following the success of the first volume, the SECRET NOTES series is back with its second edition including nine snaking Minimal House tunes. Label's core members AG Swifty & EDiP team up for the first time with the bouncy '2ezy' while Brad Brunner's dark number 'No Game' runs through the dystopian wilderness. The rest of the compilation sees some of the hottest prospects stepping up their game, each providing essential club tools that have marked Mahony's sets over the last year. Keep the secret.
