Q-BiK, Australian based, ex-pat New Zealand Drum n’ Bass DJ/Producer has been turning some heads worldwide. A working DJ for 10 years in NZ and Australia, it wasn't too long until he eventually progressed his way into music production. This saw Q-BiK's productions gaining support worldwide from the likes of Pete Tong, Annie Mac & Nerm on BBC Radio 1 and Crissy Criss on 1XTRA as well as Australian national radio Station, Triple J, which play listed his first 12" ‘My House’ signed to Planet Funk (UK). Triple J still plays it regularly!! It became a Massive hit worldwide and was promptly licensed and featured on DRUM&BASS ARENA’s ‘Summer Selection’ compilation of ‘Biggest Summer Anthems Ever’, not to mention heavy club support from Brookes Brothers, Danny Byrd, Futurebound and Matrix, Sigma, Adam F, Kenny Ken and the list goes on! Recently Q-BiK was asked to remix Killa Kela's new single of his LP, after touring with him in Vietnam. It is being officially released on the world famous 100% Records UK, which boast such artists as Moby, Robyn and Placebo!

Q-BiK has also been nominated, Best DnB DJ and Best Local Tune for 'My House' at the Perth Dance Music Awards 2009, as well as numerous achievements back home in NZ. Having earned a reputation as a skillful selector and bad man on the decks playing massive clubs shows or festivals around NZ, he has also come and established himself as one of Australia's forefront DnB DJs and now, Producers as well as the most consistent booked DnB DJ around Australia, which ultimately shows his prowess and skills on the wheels of steel. Q-BiK has now played across the globe spanning several tours across NZ, Australia, Asia and an extensive tour across UK and Europe having headlined club shows and festivals of 10,000 to 200 people. Not to mention having supported and been billed alongside every major dnb act as well as the likes of Pendulum, DJ Marky, Killa Kela, Bombfunk MC's Masters At Work, Xpress2, etc etc. Q-BiK has also played at many NZ and Australian Festivals. Good Vibes (NZ - 06), Resolution NYE (03-06), Uprising NYE (07), Enchanted Forrest (Adl, SA), etc, etc. These continued accomplishments as a DJ and in his production career have only upped the ante for this aspiring and passionate DJ/Producer as he continues to make BIG moves. Random has established himself as one of the premier d’n’b jock/ producer in Indonesia within short period of time. Start his career in Long Beach, CA in 96. He has gained respect not only across Indonesia, but also South East Asia countries, to playing in places as far as Los Angeles. His production skills resulted in several indie hits in Indonesia like Jak Mov CD and 2 albums with his band called Electronic Groove as well as couple releases in America d’n’b label Jungle Voodoo. A lot of his tunes and remixes are now not only rinse by other djs, but also make an impact on the dance floor. Spinning at many raves like Jakarta Movement and manage to be the Runner Up on the Heineken Thirst Studio 2006 in a very stiff competition.

Random - All night long

Seeka grew up in south east london with huge influences from the undergound radio scene from shows like conflict fm,shakedown,rush,pulse and of course the mighty Kool fm. His farther also was a musician in the 60's and use to jam with some of the guys from fleetwood mac so music was in his blood to perform. During the early 90's music came alive with it's new version of dance music called 'Rave' music. He was already well into his hip hop and reggae music and neighbourhood would always have houses pumping it out . His Cousin Simon C who was older was doing the whole pirate radio thing had some decks and was the raver of the fam so anytime he went round the house he was well interested in hearing his tunes. He gave him a tape he did of him mixing back in 91-92 and he was hooked, it was there where seeka found the spark to say lyrics here and there. Anyway by late 90's seeka had moved to southwest and the underground rave scene and culture was going strong, this is where it got real, starting with free parties and then from that came the gigs. He met up with mike centrifugal who was a passionate promoter and he took him on and wasn't long before the local legend on the scene dj Cookie from liverpool got the chance to hear him and put the word to his promoter for 'Hardegde '. Seeka was a solo artist then working various shows and was mc'in for some jungle techno nights called 'the message' and a fresh rave starting up called Hindsight and was supporting the likes of Legend Dj's Slipmet, Hixxy, Dougal, Sy, even landing a show supporting the Mighty Rat Pack. So when 98 was here he was hungry for doing what he loved and that was working with the breaks, jungle and the year when that hardstep sound was coming to life and evolved into drum and bass. Over the following years he ended up supporting all the big names in the scene from Kenny Ken, Shy Fx, Ed Rush, Blackmarket, Andy C and a whole lot more. He also landed a show with cookie on pyro radio.com and also a rave called the carnival at londons bagley nightclub By the time 2002 was around he felt a change was needed and a break from the 'whole mc'in scene' and of course the sheer competitiveness of life in the UK. In 2003 he decided to take a trip out to New Zealand, he scoped out the scene and wasn't long before 'Q-bik' was mentioned, the two contacts sorted out doing a gig together and straight away knew after hearing what they brought to the table there styles worked together and the duo started smashing gigs left right and centre supporting the likes of Concord dawn, Shapeshifter, Teebee. This is where Seeka felt he wanted to rep and so after a short time back in the uk again he started making the plans to make the move out there for good. At the time 'QBik' was making the move out to perth and was starting to make big moves himself. By 2008 'Qbik' had his first tune 'My house' signed to planet funk recordings and it was all perfect timing for round two in the saga, From 08 till present day Seeka has already started to become a household name supporting DJ Marky, Futurebound, Cern, Bungle,Shockone , Dose, Marcus intalex, Nero & Raiden, Utah Jazz, Dc Breaks, S.P.Y. Seeka has also teamed up with Qbik and has 2 releases coming out which have been signed by Cutterz choice recording and latest release 'Let the music' which has had huge plays on bbc 1xtra and Drum and Bass arena is due out very soon. Seeka continues now to impress the massives with his lyrical flows and styles getting better and better and knowing how to host a night and give the dj's room to breath is proving him one to watch. 2010 is already looking like a world tour could be on the way so watch this space and look out for name 'Seek and u shall find' ....Much Luv and respect to all the crew supporting wot we do...
