A YEAR IN COVERS (AYiC) is an exhibition to celebrate cover artworks in the electronic music scene, focusing on underground genres and independent creators.

Every year a different team of electronic music lovers curates a selection of covers that combines exceptional artwork and state of the art music.

There is a gallery in the metaverse you can visit, an official brochure you can download, some playlists to dig in, and some social media accounts you can follow to stay in touch.

"Ryokan Lounge" is a project by Takk Iori that embodies a serene and immersive experience centered around music, art, and culture. A ryokan is a traditional Japanese inn that offers guests a unique experience of the lifestyle treasured and handed down by the Japanese people. Following that path, "Ryokan Lounge" offers a musical journey drifting between ambient, breaks, experimental, IDM, drone, leftfield, trip hop, electronic, downtempo, bass, and dub techno.

Kosmos is one of the most requested Dj's in the best clubs and festivals both nationally and internationally, keeping his two residencies, Nitsa Club and Nasty Bass (both in the legendary venue Apolo) at the front of his frenetic activity.

He also directs Tracy Recordings alongside Ginebra and Strong Language, probably the freshest and most innovative label in today's Spanish electronic scene.

At the decks his style is eclectic and smart. Based on influences coming from Chicago house and Detroit techno, he's perfected an exciting and rich style that has made him the quintessential spanish bass dj. Pioneering the fusion of cutting edge sounds with old school classics he's evolved into a new style we can describe as house & bass, that goes beyond labels and is a personal and irressitible sound that causes devastation in the dancefloor and appeals to techno heads and trendy kids alike.

As a producer he's been part of Majestic alongside Ginebra and Sergio Castillo, releasing on labels like D.Press and Palace in a tech house tip. He's also part of Tracy Music with Ginebra and Strong Laguage making pure bass music. They did the succesfull remix of Ben Mono & Lars Moston "Unison" that was "most rated" track in the influential magazine XLR8R.

He was also part of the spanish cult outfit Vanguard, a project ahead of it's time that at the end of the 90's was breaking sound barriers and remixing the royalty of spanish pop music.

Takk Iori is a multidisciplinary artist exploring the intersection of music, technology and creativity. His passion for music began at a very young age, heavily influenced by his family's musical culture, which exposed him to a wide variety of genres. During his youth, he played the piano and studied music theory. However, it was the discovery of electronic music that brought everything into focus for him.

Art has always been a driving force in Takk's career, finding ways to connect culture, innovation and communities. In 2021, he founded The Generative Art Museum, a non-profit organization based in Barcelona dedicated to promoting art created through code as a medium of artistic expression.

Promoting culture has been a constant theme in his journey, which has been interspersed with his professional career as a software developer and founder of multiple startups. In 2023, Takk joined Viatge Electrònic and began a new journey under the alias Takk Iori to rekindle and pursue his passion for music. Since then, he has co-founded Roca Umbert Sound Factory (RUSF), A Year in Covers, and Suninguba.

Sonically speaking, Takk Iori is not binded to any genre. You will often find him digging on ambient, experimental, idm, drone, dub techno, leftfield, techno and deep house.
