'RAW RIDERS' in CLUB TEMPLE

I am TAKT130 from south Korea. I got into techno a few years ago at a club in Itaewon, in my hometown.
and it inspired me to work in the music industry as a DJ and producer. 
today I am also a member of the music label "southern oscillation", which I co-founded with a few fellow artists and friends.

Ever since I begun my career as a DJ, I wanted to convey the emotions that I feel when listening to the selected tracks.
I think of music in the form of various colours and shapes. each track is like the colours on a palette. by mixing them they can create a beautiful painting.

This is the first mix I recorded since moving to Berlin. while living here, I am deeply inspired by the rave culture and people that I meet. 
This mix is an interpretation of my journey here. I hope to share the colours of Berlin as I have experienced them, and that you will enjoy this mix as much as I do.

TAKT130 is a South Korean DJ and co-founder of the label @southern-oscillation, currently based in Berlin.
She is recognisable through her bass-driven yet oftentimes melodic sound, seeking to convey the tumultuous flow of emotions and inner stories, and invites her listeners to discover aspects of their subconscious feelings through her music.


After four years, she's back with her second EP, marking a significant evolution in her sound. Inspired by the fresh perspectives gained from relocating from Korea to Berlin, this release embodies a wealth of new influences that have shaped her unique style.
Characterized by deep bass frequencies, this EP showcases her signature approach to techno, delivering narratives through low-end sounds that resonate with her artistic vision. With a focus on crafting a distinctive low-frequency experience, she aims to convey her story with a fresh and personal touch.

"Cassini" by TAKT130 tells the story of a satellite that spent 13 years orbiting the distant planet of Saturn. Alone in the vast emptiness of space, it listens. Radio signals from celestial bodies whisper, touch, weave, intertwine in intangible rhythm. Gravity, ever unrelenting, pulls you in closer, faster. The rings begin to appear bigger. You are almost able to touch the atmosphere.

TAKT130 is a South Korean artist, DJ and co-founder of the label Southern Oscillation.

TAKT130 delivers textured techno sounds through a harmonious blend of groove and experimental music. With bouncy basslines, driving kicks, and nostalgic yet beautiful melodies, she creates a captivating atmosphere for the dancefloor.

After debuting in South Korea in 2020, she relocated to Germany and made her mark on the Berlin scene in 2022. Her distinctive storytelling, meticulous mixing, and unique combination of sounds quickly won over Berlin audiences.

As a co-founder of the South Korean label Southern Oscillation, she has collaborated with local electronic artists to release 18 EPs and one compilation album. Her debut EP ‘130’, released alongside the label launch, established her creative direction and pursuit of textured sound.

Her second EP, ‘Low Frequency Delivery’, released in 2024 on the Ukrainian label 666666, reflects inspiration drawn from her experiences in Berlin and her exploration of diverse auditory landscapes. As the title suggests, this EP delves into low-frequency sounds, showcasing a driving techno style distinct from her earlier works.
