Motorkopf - Liveset (2014)

Takto, born in the ruhr area of germany, has been producing electronic music since roughly 2003. Free from boundaries he transfers his creative ideas into experimental dance music.
Takto's love for music began with the punk/hardcore sound of the early 90's, but his influences widen across genres from softer classics (Pink Floyd, King Crimson) through to Triphop and other Independent-Postrock and Electrosounds.
With the first Techno/Psytrance party experiences towards the end of the 90's came the first question..."how does this kind of music work"
Since 1999 he has been the groove maker for the kick-ass-space-rock-combo "Curklin". This is also when he started experimenting with electronic music and continued to expand his studio setup.
The Tracks are generated on a computer but most of the sounds come from various Grooveboxes, Effect Devices and synthies. He shares his passion for synthetic sounds on tour with friend Piet Bender by Aera.128.
Although he doesnt want to determine his style, the sound moves around minimalistic-progressive dance music that emerges into down-tempo and psychedelic soundscapes.
The Tracks consist of many influences and develope their own liveliness through the combination of electronic and acoustic sounds.
