TAKT Mix Series is my first introduction to an artist, our first correspondence or conversation in person. 
Remember how you encountered a DJ at a bar or in the smoking area after their performance and struck up a conversation on topics close to both of you. Or perhaps you accidentally stumbled upon an unfamiliar producer in the studio and discovered new music...
That's why in this mix series, I try to find out the journey the artist has taken and what music they hold with great love in their library.

A fanatic for laid-back grooves and infectious vibes, Deaf Feet personifies Pedro, between mixes and reactions on the decks. With a natural attachment to electronic music, presents himself to the community with several collaborations and tracks disseminated under the handle of Lisbon-based Diversity Collective (@dvrst-y)of which he is a co-founder.

Now looking towards the scene, he's been forging with multi-talented producers, djs, and labels in order to collaborate, create and share their work. With an eclectic side between house styles & electronic paces, the first tunes over his signature are imminent lately this year.

TAKT Mix Series 025 - Leap

Leap is a music enthusiast inspired by the aesthetics of the 80s, actively showcasing musical genres such as italo, disco, and nu-disco to the audience. 
Since 2019, he has been producing his own music and has managed to feature his releases on labels such as Estetika (including a compilation with Alberto Melloni, Romain FX, Johannes Albert, and Donald Dust) and Do Me. 
It is worth mentioning that at the Bruma Festival, Carol Mattos opened with Leap's track "Ray." 
Currently, Leap continues to reinterpret the tube aesthetics of the 80s in a modern manner. Additionally, he hosts the Biosystem podcast on radioplato.by, a local non-commercial radio station.

Resident of Moor Seoul and participated in Hitech Seoul party.
You can meet her crown sound in the underground club as Jeoul and many different stages in South Korea.

Happiness Therapy welcomes back Berlin's own @marcbrauner for his second EP on the label! A project that epitomizes summer, evoking dreams of holiday and romances that come with it. With the title track "Mon Numéro" leading the charge, the rising German producer teams up with French-German actress and vocalist Maéva and showcases once again his acclaimed signature sound: groovy, entertaining, and with a touch of charm.

Resident of @utrorec & one of the founders of @maturlabel. 

It's always difficult to talk about oneself and describe one's perspective from the outside, which is why I believe that the material I've prepared should tell you much more. Currently, I'm in the final stages of working on my album, as well as preparing my other works for release. The mix was recorded in August 2023 at a party dedicated to the 2nd anniversary of the Walkers formation, in the historical center of Nizhny Novgorod. Since TAKT originated there, I never once thought that the mix could appear anywhere else!

1 year after releasing his 5th long-play “True, Necessary, Kind” Alexander Lay-Far prepared a conceptual follow-up - a compilation of remixes and reinterpretations from young underground heroes, new exciting talents as well as some well-seasoned producers.

Pursuing the original album’s philosophy, in the autumn of 2023 Lay-Far announced an open remix competition to share the inspiration spark, ignite the intercultural dialogue and officially release the top 3 reworks as a result. 
However it didn’t go according to the plan! Submissions poured in from Germany, Spain, The UK, USA, Russia, Ireland, Indonesia, South Africa, etc., exceeding the expectations of quantity and most importantly quality! After taking quite some time to review all the remixes - the best of the best were selected.
