We welcome label artist @futuristant to the show for episode 32!

Futuristant is an alchemist and his productions are a real melting pot of nostalgic influences, he doesn’t limit himself in just one style but always maintains that retro futuristic touch that makes him recognizable.

Buying his first turntables at the age of 14 - Christian made a name for himself in his hometown of Rome within a few short years, playing in all the best clubs. In 2014 he founded the project Riesen with his friend Davide. Riesen’s music has been multiple times in Top 100 Beatport being supported and played from djs like Maceo Plex, ARTBAT, Above and Beyond and many others. Their releases propelled them the chance to play in many different countries around Europe and beyond. In 2018 Christian created Futuristant, his solo project made to experiment with different sounds and contrasting influences. The first release ‘Future Dance’ on Encants Records was a big success and shot him quickly into a wider audience, having been supported by Solomun multiple times that year. 

Since then the enigmatic Futuristant has released on labels such as Bordello a Parigi, Ombra International, Roam Recordings, Aeon Audio, Rotten City, Nein Recordings, and most recently on Kompakt Records.

Leap is a music enthusiast inspired by the aesthetics of the 80s, actively showcasing musical genres such as italo, disco, and nu-disco to the audience. 
Since 2019, he has been producing his own music and has managed to feature his releases on labels such as Estetika (including a compilation with Alberto Melloni, Romain FX, Johannes Albert, and Donald Dust) and Do Me. 
It is worth mentioning that at the Bruma Festival, Carol Mattos opened with Leap's track "Ray." 
Currently, Leap continues to reinterpret the tube aesthetics of the 80s in a modern manner. Additionally, he hosts the Biosystem podcast on radioplato.by, a local non-commercial radio station.

[OBJ As Losbikini and on his own he has released on many of the most prestigious labels such as, Nein, Tici Taci, Blindetonation or Nude disco to name but a few. Having played in several European countries such as the UK, Ireland, Scotland and Germany (Berlin) Ivan gained a lot of understanding and experience of what the crowd want. Also having played in his home countries at events such as off sonar week in Barcelona, he has also either played or been a resident in many of Madrid's top clubs, such as Cafe Berlin, Ballesta, Phoenix.
