this song was one of the earlier songs I made, probably around 2008 or 2009. I didn't understand sampling that well, so instead of sampling a short part I just took the entire song. Nujabes and Uyama Hiroto really liked this song. This is actually taken from Takagi Masakatsu's "Exit/Delete". The plan was to release this on 7inch vinyl through visioneternal, including the original song as well. I heard from Masakatsu's old label and they really wanted it to happen, but never got to hear back from Masakatsu.. so instead it's on this project. I hope you enjoy it, as it is an old one.

Originating from the same fruit tree, most likely,
Both dropped into eternity
Which fell first?  Hardly a mystery
Two lives filled with constant misery 
A new beginning to a long, painful history
A sly fox, a being of ruse,
Dinno what path to use 
Games he played, scores of trickery,
To avoid shame and mockery,
Tricks and games got old soon enough 
Craved to move onto the happier zone
Tricks rarely gets you to a good ending
The fox and the wolf story ain’t the most pleasant
The foxy didn't blend well with the present 
Brought tears to the day's sorrow
But hey, don't you worry high clouds and sunshine tomorrow

Bleeding ears entering a world of believing
Forcing through the blockades of truth
Appearing like I used to in my youth
A never aging soul!
Unfortunately, peace does have a toll
But no matter what moving lifelong
Riding a colorful song

Descended from the elm
In a valley without wind,
Grinned,
A lone wolf, without a pack, 
Putting aside, considered whack!
Howling n singing to the moon 
Non-stop, from midnight till noon

From an illiterate's dream, a never ending beam, 
With a headful of steam.
When the creatures promised,
To what seemed bluest

The wolf standing straight on his feet
The wolf, intrigued, asks the fox
What is he seeking, The fox ponders
Not used to questioning,
Adding a pause, replies quite strangely
His soul disappeared, vanished completely
Wolfy smiles profoundly
“Look, here's your soul”,
pointing at his chest as he awakens from his rest
Fox felt unusually strong, 
Putting his headphones on, 
Spinning to his new song!
