 We are all searching for that one thing or multiple things that will make this world worthwhile, to make the good times last as long as possible. There's nothing wrong with that. It's not like we should desire not to have any fun, or to search for our purpose in life. 
 What I have found is that making those things last and putting Jesus first is the most rewarding. I don't do it most of the time because it just seems strange to me, but when I am loving God and serving others, I am free.
