Written by Tala, and produced both J Bel & Tala, 'Gold Digga' is meant to be a reflection of the fun that the duo has when creating music together. The duo describes the feeling of the song as  'Summer Vibes' or simply 'Fun'. The idea of the song came after Tala was conversating with a friend of hers, who had recently experienced a rough relationship with a partner that was only interested in money. 

Also, Tala is native Arab, so she wrote one of the hooks in the song in her native language. It was originally intended for an Arab male singer, but Juan, after hearing Tala singing, pushed and convinced her to sing the part herself.

The arrangement of the track was put together by the the duo and produced using Juan's freelance production business 'JB Content'.

J Bel (from Ireland) x Tala (from Lebanon) is a Pop/Fun/Chill collaboration project born in Prague, Czechia.


About Tala


Tala is a songwriter/producer, born in Lebanon, who moved to Prague as a teen.

She started on the classical guitar as a kid without any plans to do music seriously until she moved to Europe.

Then she really got into music and bought an acoustic guitar to start covering songs. Later in Highschool she started writing music and performing with bands.

Her influences include Bryce Vine, Muna and Frank Ocean.

After a few years, during Covid times in Prague, she met Juan (producer and singer/songwriter) through Facebook, and sent him a song and they started collaborating.

​About J Bel

J Bel (Juan) is also a songwriter/producer, born in Colombia, raised in Ireland. He started his musical career as front-man of the band 'Aztec Jackal' and a student of Vocals at BIMM Dublin. His musical influences include James Brown, Bob Marley and Bruno Mars.

After graduating, he moved to Bolivia for 2 years, where he began producing his own songs. Then he moved back to Ireland to do a Masters in Media and Music Technology in TCD. After his Masters he began his freelance business 'JB Content' which offers services in Media and Music production. Juan's passion always laid in songwriting, and when Tala came along with a song called 'Gold Digger', the duo immediately clicked and began working on music more and more. 'Gold Digga' is the first track that has resulted from this Collaboration.
