End Of Level Boss is a joint project from Cyclonix and Tusk celebrating the world of video game technostalgia through electronic music. End of Level Boss follows up it's successful debut Ganondorf EP, with the Scorpion EP. The EP is named after the resurrected ninja from Mortal Kombat, who is the game's greatest anti-hero, with the battle cry "vengeance will be mine". 

The Scorpion EP features tracks by Si Murray (of Deep Space Orchestra)  who delivers a bass synth monster under his Mogadishu Young Team persona, Canadian producer Robert S who drops some steppin' techno heat, label boss Cyclonix who drops a leftfield analogue beast, and new-comer Newcomer Nant Rouge who delivers an epic hypnotic synth driven journey.

This album was recorded in Calle Regas in Barcelona and D Gray Studios in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was mixed by Roman Urazov.

First single taken from forthcoming album 'A Knack For Calamity'. 

Label boss, DJ, producer and all-round music industry egg, Leigh ran the Urban Torque club night from 1999, featuring a dream team of residents including Juan Atkins, Justin Robertson and Craig Richards, before launching the Urban Torque label with founder Jason Moore in 2001. UT was home to some of the best electronic records of the 2000s and became a byword for a certain type of quality and musicality. This was no doubt due to the savvy A&R skills, artist development and down to earth business approach from Leigh and Jason, whose continued success through troubled times in the industry was testament to the quality of their label. 

Leigh continued to run the Urban Torque Transmissions Radio Show whilst carefully learning the production craft, working on his own music at home. Never one to hurry things, always one to wait for just the right moment, finally we get to hear Leigh Morgan’s first full length album 'A Knack For Calamity' on Fancy Human. Featuring 13 tracks of dreamy electronica, dance floor targeted deep house and taking in some downtempo gorgeousness too, 'A Knack For Calamity' is what happens when someone who truly loves house music takes the time to learn how to make it; the results are as high quality as everything else Leigh has done in his music career to date.

Following his solo 12" debut in November on AC Records, Armec returns with a 4-track EP on Echocentric Records.  “Diametric EP" is nuance-rich and emotional, enter micro-worlds of subtle melodies, pads and sci-fi drones that ooze both melancholy and hope, and will appeal to anyone into electro, IDM and techno.   A-side is a nod to Robbie's IDM roots. Just check the expansive soaring synth-work on "Auden" and the analogue moods of "Conceptualise". The droney, murky & dystopian sci-fi soundscapes of side B offer another view into Armec's production work.   Keep an eye out for Armec in 2020, more quality releases on their way.

My new release "Trees/Spiral" continues a series of two-track techno releases that started with "Scan/Dive", released in March 2020.
First track “Trees” combines polyrhythmic techno structures with atmospheric and ambient textures.
In track "Spiral” I'm exploring a dark dystopian sound.

Trees

An electronic music artist, producer and dj from Nottingham, England. Inspired by the past, looking to the future. Not imitating but creating. Growing up in UK bass music culture influenced by soul, jazz, funk and hip hop; he has been releasing music on the house, broken beat, bass music spectrum since 2013.  

He has released on a diverse range of labels from across the world including Tusk Wax (UK), Phuture Shock (UK) Dope Tones (France), Broadcite (UK) , Percebes (Portugal), Boogie Cafe (UK), Protopost (Italy), Amalgama (USA) .

Cyclonix currently runs a label called Little Red Hand releasing music on the broken beat and bass music spectrum. He also djs for Nuwave radio and produces regular guest mixes for channels around the world.  

John Wilcox aka Cyclonix is a producer of electronic music based in Nottingham, England. He took up djing 17
years ago and production 10 years ago after being an avid musicf an. His taste over 20 years have includes funk,
soul, hip hop, jungle/drum and bass, trip hop, “nu jazz”, jazz, acid jazz, world music, broken beat and deep house
and techno. This is reflected in his dj sets and his Future Beats radio show that he ran for 8 years on 
the myhouseyourhouse internet radio station. 


His releases to date have incorporated his influences from the west London fused acid broken beat grooves on
his Gift of a Patient Soul Ep, to deep house vibes on Esoteric Ideas on Horn Wax, trip hop and techno on Phuture
Shock. He has released on labels run by Cottam, Red Rack’em and Tusk Wax. His recent releases have included on Dope Tones (Frnace0, Broadcite (london) , Percebes (Portugal), Boogie Cafe (Bristol), Protopost (Italy).

Talahachi is a record label for rhythmic electronic music, operating from the science department of North Middlesex Technical College. We like music made with synthesizers, step sequencers and arpeggiators, chord memory and the filters on vintage samplers. We like melodic techno and electro, deep house and delicate acid tracks, but we’re also interested in music closer to synth pop and cold wave, or ambient tracks with a pulse.
