Kelly Macias introduces the topic of generational diversity, a type of discrimination that is not widely talked about in the professional world. Throughout the years, people have discriminated by race, religion, and gender, but it is never too common to hear a severe case about age. In the ever-changing and competing industry, young people are seeking jobs, but it is becoming harder and harder when technology can do (sometimes) more than the person. This has created a stereotype of laziness in the Millennials, despite the fact of being tech-savvy.

Barnes’ latest installment in ASTD covers different POVs and how the three most recent generations may react towards each other. It opens a door to a new kind of perspective and breaks down the wall between the differences in generations.
