Skeletons (demo)

I recorded this back in 1995. The drums are a Roland R8. The guitar was a Les Paul through a 15 watt Park practice amp. The bass was a wretched aluminum-neck Kramer.  I played all the parts. I did a version with vocals that we actually played in one band or another, but the instrumental is the cooler version.

Lectra Glide (Guitar Instrumental)

This is from a project done by my friend and Brother, Randall Carrier, called Proxima Machina. The CD is called "As It Were" I sang on a bunch of songs on the record and did a little guitar work here and there. I also mixed and mastered it. On this track I do the last guitar solo and outro noodling guitar stuff. This also features SuperDave Eichman of my band .end of story on the badass bass solo.

Laodicea (Proxima Machina)

Went to Arkansas. Played a whole bunch of badass guitar parts. A lot of which were deleted by a country bumpkin "producer" who didn't much care for the fact that I knew more about producing "and playing guitar" than he did. This song remained in tact, as far as I can remember. Lance is a talented guy.

This is from my bands latest CD. There's a very long story about why it took ten years to complete this record, but we're not going to get into that. Just enjoy the tune. This has been a fan favorite for ten years.

Another from .the sonic blueprint. This features Ty Tabor of King's X trading guitar solos with me. Ty plays solo breaks 1, 3, and 5. Ty also does some harmony vocals in the chorus. A great groove on this one.

This is a demo of a track that will be on our next CD, tentatively titled "Meter Bridge" The drums were programmed on a Roland R8 and drum sounds were accessed from Battery 3 software.

Lean (.end of story)

This is another demo for a tune that will be on our next CD. After recording .the sonic blueprint, we began rehearsing for shows and writing new material. We wrote four new songs with former drummer, Matt Thompson, before he left the band in early 09. This is a rehearsal recording, so the quality isn't great. You'll get the idea. There are going to be some great songs on the next CD.

I'm Skot. I play guitar, sing, write, engineer, produce.... pretty much everything but make a living. My band of the past fifteen years is called .end of story. You can find us all over the web.
