'Tales of a Seaside Inn' are sweeping novels of the seas, seaside and the far-flung, seafaring Morris family, stretching from Elizabethan England to present-day New England.

'Tales of a Seaside Inn: Fear God, Beware Fire', book one in the series, will be released by Amazon.com in April. 'Absinthe Maketh the Heart', book two, will be serialized daily on Facebook as it's being written. You'll find the first installment (far) below on January 13.

I'd like to note a few new features just for our FB readers.

First, you'll notice that 'Absinthe' is very visual, with many illustrations, photos and videos. Fun!

'Seaside Cookery' offers recipes for much of the food from around the world mentioned in the book.

'Wayback Machine' presents random tastes of past 'Tales' from time to time.

Telling tales around the fireside is an old, old tradition dating from the first Saltmarsh Inn on The Wash in East Anglia, England during the Elizabethan era. Join us!
